I had a demo long track viper or a while and it didn't seem to have problems at all. Granted I had a problem with a starter tooth breaking but that's minor. I had been climbing stuff where your not moving at the top and it didn't shut down. And definitely had it on its side and it didn't ever...
I agree the Rev would be your best bet. But stay away from the 07 it has what is possibly the worst engine ski doo has ever made. That year is known for engine failure. And look at the renegade chassis. It will be good for jumping drifts and easy days on the trail.
Try taking the whole electric switch assembly off and putting dielectric grease on the plugs. Sometimes if you are in deep snow it can get packed in between the bars and the switch assembly and interrupt the connection causing the sled to die or go in and out of reverse. That happened to my...
So with Arctic Cat and Yamaha teaming up, what is going to happen to Arctic Cat for 2014? I heard they are going to start producing there own engines and move away from suzuki. Anybody seen or heard anything yet?
Some snow might have made its way into the engine, which could have effected the head gasket. So when you get up to 6700rpm the pressure is pushing air passed the gasket making it seem like it's hitting the rev limiter, because you are losing compression. That's the only thing I could think of...
You will need all of the electronics because on the 97 they ran HAC if memory serves and the 2000 runs DPM so everything electronic wise will need to be changed and anything can be done depends how much money you are willing to spend.
My little brother was riding a 340 Indy lite. No tweaking needed he started riding it at 8 they are so light there is nothing to worry about. He is 11 now and is riding a renegade x and has no problem. The 340 is a great stepping stone! He is selling his if you are looking at buying. Send me a...
I have to say I agree. But when you are pulling around a Mastercraft X45 like myself you need to make sure it's not a 1/2" off because. Its worth spending the time and not spending $145 000 on another boat because you screwed your hull. But because we dont want to piss people off, we just bought...
Chip it. I put a super chip in mine and when I need to haul something just set it to towing it asks you for the weight and it increase the torque accordingly. Load hogs help as well if you dont already have them.

Cat engines are crap! Was looking at buying a cat and yami dealership in Vernon. Ended up not buying it purely for the reason that every second cat they sold came back blown up. Dont ever buy a cat!
