Yeah, having been the victim of a water damaged camper, I don't think I'll be passing it on to someone else without them knowing about the water damage. I know its buyer beware, but the buyer should be able shoot the seller if he hides the damage and lies repeatedly about there being no water...
Yeah, if I release his name on S&M or Facebook, that opens me up to Liable charges as none of this has been proven in court.
All I think I will say is that he has a Blue Polaris Scrambler that runs on race gas. Good chance he's on Snow and Mud actually and some of you by SE Edmonton know him...
If I do go forward I'll be asking for the full dealership fix amount. Which would be North of $3000 I'd expect. So yeah, not having to deal with the full fix and getting it restored to factory seems worth it at the moment. Probably looking at 40 hours of work for me otherwise
The proof is in the fact that a leak that big would have been visible if it hadn't been cleaned up. And the area I could see was cleaner than it should have been (no dust).
New twist. I approached the seller by text message, looking for some sort of remuneration, and got told to **** off (As expected).
So now I'm looking at small claims court. I believe this guy knew about the leak, and intentionally cleaned it up so it wasn't visible. In my mind that constitutes...
Easier said than done, whole front corner is wet, and the water tank can't be removed without taking out a whole wall so I'm gonna dry it, replace what I can, and spray the rest with mold stopper and hope for the best.
So I bought a toy hauler RV recently, I inspected it carefully, but sure enough, when I got it home I noticed a bit of ice in the corner by the Hot Water tank. I'm sure I checked in there, but musta missed it.
Anyways, after pulling the water heater out, sure enough, 3" split on the...
I use an old Float 30. Its a heavy old thing but it works. The air canister doesn't seal properly sometimes so it loses pressure. I have to check it before every ride these days but that's probably not a bad thing to be doing anyways.
I blew it for fun with 1000psi (supposed to have 2500) and...
Got about 900km out of the first stock (391) belt before it pulled a cord on a warm day in heavy snow when I was relentlessly beating on it with climb after climb.
I put a used XP belt (377 belt) on it and it ran fine for the rest of the day so I left it like that. I currently have 1800 XM km's...
I use the go pro cineform program to trim and convert clips to avi, then use Windows movie maker after, works better cause the trimmed files are smaller.
