No do not take wife there with you. there is creek crossings and shale hills with barely enough for a sled to get around. And that was before the flood.
So if you love your wife leave her at home. Just saying
Rich
ask on here in the Polaris section. did you know look on the skidoo website and the price of a new one might surprise you. Its not a 163 summit X but I think around 8500 and getting closer to the end of the year with thin snow you might get a great deal
Ya Doug where is the next video so we can say thanks around the 15 of Feb when there is enough to play in again
Yup I said it the 15 of FEB... yikes the weather has to go around the world to reach us again... and collect some moisture of course
why don't you get out on a 600... say Polaris or the older 700 nice light sleds and can be used in almost any condition. BUT!!!!! sorry to say once you get a TASTE of the mountain powder its hard to stay on the trail. Most of us on here or should say sledders are powder junkies and yes the...
Welcome to S&M
There are a great bunch of guys "and gals" to ride with so if your looking to get out just throw a post out there and someone will let you tag along
I think the "new attitude" is an age thing and as we get older (not saying were all old) we see what all the older sledders saw a few years ago. But I do agree with you all
Well I just looked at the map again and yup the trail is there. Summit X nailed it good... that is the trail and everyone should stay on it until into BC. its not hard and the snow is better over there. or I have a better idea. if you don't want to follow the rules....DONT GO!
You know when you post pics of your truck and trailers its like a shopping list for the thieves. Just my 2 cents. After posting it they know what you drive and the value inside it... think about it.
I think you should sell it. LOL. start over and beat the piss out of another sled.... just kidding. give it to the girlfriend and tell here is a valentines gift and then you have to get a new one. isn't this what friends are for
I also went 163 and love it.... WAIT!!! I LOVE THE 163XM.. LOL there is no difference on boondocking and I actually find the sled is easier to move around
Wow!!! ok its the inside of the belt and that's from idling only... there is no shield issue but the alignment of the engine is off a bit. run it and watch the wear if it starts to shred the belt then get the clutch alignment done. the older XP's 08-10 had this issue and has been mentioned...
Try all brands. I have beena polaris owner since 1977 and switched to skidoo because of the etec and the poor engine quality of polaris. Didn't like the cat. I wasn't too picky untill it came to reliability
Welcome to the site and this site is full of great people so if you want to get out and get shown around. This is the place to do it. Questions about gear or sleds... the answer is here. Welcome. What do you ride?
