Im not a big fan of cinch type straps but these Masterlock brand (bought at Home Depot) work great for quads/sleds. They have a snap hook so no lost or loose hanging straps ever.
Model No. 3065DAT | Master Lock
I put a Silber turbo on mine basically because the price was right and I wanted to try it. Easy install and relatively trouble free.......the hoods up only to adjust the boost controller so far.
Pros - great power at elevation
Cons - av gas or race fuel can be expensive and a inconvenience to...
I quit using Warn 2 years ago as well, I could only get a season out of them and it was getting expensive with 3 quads. Bought a Runva 4500 for my Thundercat and it's been awesome. No issues 2 seasons and less the half the price of the last Warn I bought.
Did you check the rubber boot to the throttle body? I've had a couple crack now, and I believe there was a recall on them. I even keep a spare in my toolbox. Might not be related, but wouldn't hurt to check.
I have added the Van Amburg bumper/tunnel support to our 155" Dragon for towing, the stock tunnel just does not seem strong enough. I think this is the only way I would ever tow with a Pro.
My work F150s have all been 5.4s up to 2011 and my 2011 a 5.0 and it really rocks great on fuel and lots of power. Really depends on the rear end ratio though. I'm looking for a F150/6.2L though right now as I want something with a little more power for towing though.
I have a 40 gallon standard water heater running approx 500 sq/ft garage floor and 1,000 sq/ft in the basement. Works really good, it's about 10 years old now though and I'm going to replace with the new water heaters made specifically for glycol heating. Works well I'm happy with it.
