Nordegg was a chitshow to ride at on May Long.. ughh I don't even want to relive the memories at this moment, on the bikes esp going through all that mud.. got lost, ran out of fuel.... ya it was awesome..
I'm curious about Hell's Half Acre as well, I'm so sick of bruderhiem anyway I'm glad I dont have to resort to going there lol, I ride near hell's half acre on RR24, which is pretty good riding but want to check other places out ;)
I'm interested in checking out this "Hell's Half Acre"..despite the disputes that seem to be going on here... is it a good place to take dirtbikes? I ride often out near RR24 which is apparently close, but i'm looking to explore new areas...feedback?? directions?? Thanks!
Thanks!! Sounds like it could be alright! :) I am trying to do some research and find some good places to dirtbike, to date I have only been riding in the Bruderheim area, McLean, Nordegg, Enoch Reserve sand dunes, Brule/Hinton, along North Sask River (199st, Edmonton) Wild Bill's Track,Floating...
Check out Range Road 24, out past Spruce Grove.. good riding, dirt trails, whoops, a bit of everything. I dirtbike out there often..love it. head out on 16A or 16 til you hit RR24, take a right turn down the gravel road and it eventually comes to a dead end, you will see a barbed wire...
Range Road 24, it comes to a dead end once you turn right off 16/16A, to the left there's a barbed wire fence..you can open the gate and go through it and drive down the little trail ..it will open up into a big field and the trails continue on from there...I love dirtbiking there, go almost...
My dad owns & operates Coliseum Mountain Resort, just before the Hostil on Shunda Creek Road, just North of Nordegg, great place to stay & awesome riding all in those area's. I go up there to go dirtbiking every chance I get, good to have GPS though, have gotten lost a few times :)
