I heard from a lot of people who race, and a friend of mine races a CRF450, that there are a couple years (maybe from 2007-2009?) that the CRF's are just ch!t, lots of people having problems...but I know a few who have older models (04's,05's,06) that have little to no problems at all. I think...
How about KTM's? Does anyone know of any arising issue's with KTM's? Are they expensive to maintain or do they live up to their name and reputation of being a rock solid quality bike? I am asking because I have a 07' Yamaha YZ 85 right now, but I am trying to sell to upgrade, and I found an...
Hey all, some of you may or may not have heard of Wild Bill's but I just wanted to post incase some of you haven't been. I went out on Sunday for my 2nd time and it's a great place for ALL ages to boot around on a quad or dirtbike. Wild Bill's does offer camping, approx 5 km's of...
Forgot to mention that the bike comes with 2 air filters, one stock, one TwinAir, couple extra spark plugs, brake & clutch lever, some matching blue SHIFT riding gear (optional)... I posted an ad on Kijiji for more info if interested
**FOR SALE**
Here's a decent pic of the YZ85 all dirty, can never seem to get any clean ones! lol. I have decided to list it, I am now interested in a KTM SX 105. If you know anyone who may be interested let me know, thanks! :)

Hey rounder, sorry I have no info on the bike but I read your thread, remembered you are in Chestermere, and figured I'd drop you a line let you know I am headed to Chestermere on the Aug 15 weekend and goin for a ride, probably McLean, that Saturday if you are interested we should meet up :) If...
As I said earlier though, she went down this ravine before, and trust me..it's nothing she can't handle...I've even been down it, (on the same quad) unfortunately even though you ride the same trail over and over, doesn't mean accidents can't happen. The risk factor is always there, no matter...
That aspect I agree with, but.. stupidity aside... if it were the law, it might urge people to start wearin them, or wear them more often, and decrease the amount of fatalities due to head injuries from not wearing a helmet? It's just sad to see all these people (young ones especially) die, and...
Yes, quads have 4 wheels, obviously they can get through mud holes a little easier then a bike.. requires a bit more skill to operate a bike through the technical stuff, its challenging..and thats what I love about dirtbiking..there's really nothing about riding a quad that challenges me or...
I never said it was the quads fault, it was nobody's fault... and she had been down the same ravine before on the same machine and made it fine. It's loss of control, which can happen to anyone on anything, my point is that its the quad that F%CKED her up, she probably would have been fine had...
there probably isn't too many reported cases of tractors/combines/swathers involved in crashes either, they may be deadly for chewing up limbs, or getting squashed by one, but wearing a helmet in a gigantic tractor (some these days probably equipped with airbags) doin 10km/h in a wide open...
Well with the going rate, I don't think it will take much time at all to accumulate enough "volunteers". You know, I honestly thought it was the law to wear helmets at all times on ATV's, I'm shocked that it isn't.. you would think that if its the law to wear a helmet on a bicycle that it would...
My step mom broke her pelvis in 3 places and has 3 metal rods inserted and is completely arthritic, and reconstructed face, damaged tear ducts so her eyes water all the time, the list goes on... because of a quad. How's that for stability? She was driving the machine very slowly down a steep...
I think i've also seen magnetic drain plugs/bolts, maybe i'm mistaken but I think my BF may have one of these on his bike as one time he changed his oil and filings were stuck to the drain plug like flies on poop
Same with dirtbikes, you rarely see fools ripping on dirtbikes without a helmet (atleast I don't), I find it quite sad that majority of people who think they don't need a helmet are either on quads or side by sides....hmm I wonder if it's because they think four wheelers are safer and they can't...
