There are 2 different Fuel Caddies I would choose from. One is for the REV chassis, and it doesn't include the plastic that raises the caddy up, it sits on the tunnel (860200132). The other one has 2 black plastic pieces that raise the caddy up about 1 inch, because the REV-XP chassis has the...
I have some ski-doo brand bibs that are pant height in the front, and bib height up the back - best of both worlds. There is a short zipper and quick adjust belt piece on the front with suspenders. They have been working quite well for a few years now, not restrictive, and never any snow down...
I have found Devon Motor Products to be very competitive with smaller truck tires as well (never got quotes on anything bigger than 265/65/18s), and if you are willing to drive, Adams GM in Wetaskiwin is VERY hard to beat.
Typically, I have found that regardless of outside temperature, if the engine hasn't been run in the last 3 hours, using full choke works best on the ski-doo's I have. Once the engine has been run, no choke and a little bit of throttle every time for the next hour. Between 1 hour and 3 hours -...
I checked mine when I installed the RKTek dual ring pistons. The gauge is cheap from Princess Auto. You have to be more concerned if the ring gap isn't enough, than if it is too much.
I ended up putting in 1 more stock plastic shim. They measure 30 thousandths. Figured for the cost, if they are too rich, I'm not out much money. Hopefully have the top end back together this week to test. Just waiting for the RKTEK pistons and head.

CVTech redid the crank, and I reinstalled it. Waiting on RKTek pistons & head to show up, then put it all back together....
When you start the sled warm, do you crack the throttle at all? I find that if I crack the throttle just slightly, my sled ALWAYS starts 1st pull when it is warm. Many people don't touch the throttle, and then flood the engine. Just a thought?
The 670 was last used in 99. In 2000, the 700 replaced it. The 670 is a rotary valve intake (technology not used by any of the manufacturers anymore, but still reliable), the 700 uses reeds. I have never had a 670, but most guys say there is huge potential in that motor. The 670 can be easy...
I had my oldest (2 years) on the sled a few times with me this year, and all but once, he fell asleep within 5 minutes of getting on the sled. I had to hold his helmet up to get him back to the house. When I was just starting to drive the tractors years ago, my brother would always want to sit...
She looked at a tacoma specific forum to get some more information. I'm sure she took some valuable info from here as well, but S&M is not the be all, end all of everything. If I want information about sleds, I come here. If I want information about my Duramax, I might post here, but I will...
Looks like only the 800 SnoPro and HCR get the vertical steering. I know this was something most Cat guys liked.... but the basic 800 and all of the 1100 don't get this feature. Wonder what that will do to sales? I can't say good or bad myself, never owned a Cat. I really like the Torqu...
How can you physically tell that a seal needs replacement? On my 08, the PTO crank seal looks fine when I cleaned it up after the outer PTO bearing grenaded.
According to the parts fiche, there is a part number 404137600 that they call "Packing". In the service manual, they refer to this as a plastic washer. If you stack more of these under the circlip, does the needle retainer still function properly? I haven't done much with needle jets... can...
