i would use straps to hold the as well,(mine uses small chain to hold to tailgate). i would also recommend that you check the cables on your tail gate as well. i was loading up one day when the cable broke,tailgate came loose. me 4wheeler,ramps,tailgate all landed on ground. just a few...

i pretty much carry most of what you guys carry,extra gas cause wifey goes through alot,first aid kit,tools ,tow rope(she has to pull me out alot),water, xd-40,and a fishing pole,cant go on the 4-wheeler without one.never know when a good fishing oportunity might come up.

i kinda went a litte different route.went and got 79 1 ton 4x4 chev with flat bed.load 4 wheelers and fuel on truck. bought light weight trailer trailer(25ft). weight rating with everything isnt close to max, even with water in trailer. everything works great. only problem is i cant get...
