Hey guys, hopefully this isn't a re-post.
I picked up a new Klim krewpak backpack and i was trying to figure out what i needed for gear/tools/etc to put in the bag. I wanted to hear what you guys/girls put in your backpacks and or tunnel bags for sledding in the mountains.
So far I've got...
I've been looking at hand guards to cut the wind a bit on those cold riding days, for those that have them which ones do you have and are they worth it? Will they last in the mountains after a few tumbles?
Thanks,
Dan
i don't believe adding extra stabilizers will do anything other than "band-aid' the issue. have you gotta ball-joints the offset? i had the similar problem with my 2006 2500 until i replaced the ball joints with cali ball joints upper and lower, after then it was a great driving truck. also...
wow brutal... That's extremely cold of the guy to leave you hanging. Fellow sledders just aren't what they used to be. I hope you find the guy who is responsible.
its not home made, its store bought with a load rating. guys use extensions all the time for campers with boats, the real heavy duty ones replace the whole hitch assembly and have more bracing ( turnbuckles ) see 14000 lbs when properly equipped.
As a matter of fact i did kick it... several times, while saying stuff like EDIT: Rainbows , butterflies , and lollipops. as for jumping i have short little legs and it looks more like umm bouncing.
I took the dess key out of it before i left.
This may be common knowledge to some of you guys but here goes nothing. It all started off a snowy utopia some know as groundhog, it was couple weeks back and i remember maybe getting stuck a few times, rolling it over and continuing riding. Well it got dark and obviously colder and we decided to...
mmmmm turbo..... (7th pic) hopefully these boys had insurance. Makes me wonder sometimes about my trailer, i had to re-do some of the wiring a couple of years ago due to no lights. When i ripped apart the wiring cover it was marrette sp? city in there and the junction box looked to me to be a...
Same kinda thing i had to do.. forgot the keys to the puck locks for the big doors but remembered the one for the man door, kinda hard to fit a sled through them. We ended up buying the correct torx socket for the screws holding the whole latch (lock) and unbolting it everytime. When i got home...
Two trucks were stolen that night, both with connections to our riding group. Both were ford diesels one with a two place trailer and another was stolen from the Best Western ( ford F350 with an enclosed ) Both trucks were recovered parked beside each other just outside of Valemount, sleds/gear...
We need to find someone with a older ford diesel and take them sledding, camp out in the trailer / Truck and all i bet you would have to do is wait with a couple of bats... get some rope and string the bastards up.
A ford can be stolen with zero to little damage in about 2-3 minutes. They are...
