    So I was doing about 80 km and blew the belt in half on my sled. I replaced it with the new spare. Now I used to be able to cruise 6900 rpm and get 80 kph. Now it’s like 7100 rpm to get 80 kph.     I’m trying to upload the picture I have but it won’t allow me to. But the hoses come out of the block. They are both black lines. Each hose is connected into the engine block directly under the intake boots

    Good day After I put the top end back together on the 800 Etec, I want to do a leak down test on the seals to make sure they are not leaking. Are there any lines I need to pinch off so I can get a good test. Thanks for any info

    Good evening mom getting ready to put the top end together on my buddies sled. I want to change the gaskets on the rave valves. I understand they just unscrew. When you put them back together do they screw in until they bottom out or do I need to count the turns when I take them apart

    So it was pointed out to me that there are 2 cracks by the exhaust port. Also my buddy told me he was adding coolant every other ride.

    One other thing I should mention is my buddy did drive this out of the mountains for 50 km with the blown piston.

    PTO side looked good. Still had good compression 125 psi. I will get some pictures in a couple days. I don’t have them on my phone

    Both sides are scored. But more so on the intake side

    When I drained the coolant there may have been 2-3 Litres of coolant

    Hi im helping a buddy rebuild the topend of his sled. It’s got one bad piston. I’m just trying to see what would have cause this. He was running straight avgas. You can now rock the piston back and forth in the cylinder , also some scoring in the cylinder The other one is tight like it should be.

    All I can is say WOW. I just installed all these goodies. This thing pulls strong.
