    Sidewinder rpm

You have a tune you need heavier weights than the mtx weights, the dalton weights are easily adjustable and the profile is close to the Yamaha weights, I’m running the same power as you and running 70g daltons. Grab yourself a purple epi or a arctic cat white torsion spring for your secondary...

Stock mtx weights? Which ones? What secondary spring are you running?

Also if you end up getting a 2017 without the drop and roll you can’t drop your front skid bolt anymore than the lower bolt hole on an 18 and up you can

I just did the spindles, the steering is much lighter, opposite of what you guys are saying, it handles like crap now on the trail up and down because the front end is so light but in the alpine it’s worth it. I have to play with some settings, I just bolted the spindles on and went so I’m sure...

Let the Predictions start, What's in for 2023??

This sport isn't going anywhere, its hard enough to get a snow check and used sleds are selling like crazy and for a good price. I don't see less people in the hills either! Maybe people start to cut one trip out a year to offset the costs a bit but saying sledding is done in 5-10 years is...

Convince me that Ski-Doo's new 10 1/4" screen is worth the $$

Ya good point, I guess you would be able to use the gps through your phone even with no cell service but that's about it.

Convince me that Ski-Doo's new 10 1/4" screen is worth the $$

From what I got on the Q and A the gauge will work off of your phones GPS and not the cellular so you should be able to use it just like the polaris gauge when it comes to tracking your buddies? Just have to have your phone plugged in on your sled for it to work I am guessing

Let the Predictions start, What's in for 2023??

Only thing I experienced with boost is I want more boost. Sure turbo lag makes it harder to ride in the trees but now a days the turbo lag on the new machines isn't noticeable enough, nothing a half decent rider cant overcome that's for sure. Cant say I ride with anyone that wants an NA over a...

Ya and look at the prices of these things and they are selling out. The market is there, Yamaha just has to get back in it. The few guys like me who would love to see a new chassis with the 998 in it are probably not the market but man would that be awesome.

    2023 Yamaha mountain

That is great news but after the skidoo release yesterday Yamaha is just so far behind. Both Polaris and Skidoo have made huge steps forward. I love the color blue but if I had to buy a new sled for next year I wouldn't even think about a mountain max. They do work good but they need some...

Boost 165 VS Turbo Doo 165 Comparison

I did this and I did that too, not many guys going to believe your pulling away from turbos with your NA, good for a laugh though!

I know the elevate rails are tipped up quite a bit in the front

My thoughts are the mono rail would be too unpredictable when climbing, the skis aren't on the ground and I find mine pretty squirrelly with the stock setup. But some guys say its the best, need to try one. Not sure how the monorail tracks are holding up to the power either?

Pretty impressed ski-doo! Addressed a lot of wants from the skidoo guys, they shouldn't complain but probably still will ;)

Are they the same rails as the elevate kit?

25 lbs off your fat ass is different that 25lbs off of a machine that you are trying to maneuver around. Losing weight will for sure help you but the sled weight would make a bigger difference

Out of the box the sidewinder is good but throw a bit of money at it and its great. I'd love to let some of these guys try mine out, might change a few minds or at least give them a big smile. Lots of hate on the arctic cat chassis in the winder from Yamaha guys but its the best handling...
