Hello, Planning a trip to Invermere in February and was told this would be a good place to take some newbie. (mom, dad and our 3 year old) Is there a good trail system with low avi risk? If not a good area for newbies.....where would you suggest?

OK everyone, we are planning the trip for the 7, and 8th of Feb. I am looking at forecast and not looking good. Forecast shows rain every day, dose this mean snow on the trails? We are staying in Kimberley and also what I would like to know has anyone been out recently and is there any snow out...

Hello, Planning a trip witb some newbies as well. Coal creek sound good. I realize avy gear is always recommended but not sure if can get for everone. Is it a must there? We want to be safe of course so if there is somewhere out there we could rent them and possibly a sled or to....any info...
