Do jetting man, I suppose u need jetting and synchronizing both carbs.
About light, check the generator first, any voltage on output? Then check wiring, personally I love working with older sleds.
thanks,
may better waits till when the season is over? Prices should go down then?
People also say better to get 2009+ and stay away from 2008 models, what do u think guys?
Hello guys,
Slow looking for XP 08 or 09 for my wife, and because I have been a polaris-man for almost all my life (except 1997 when I had a AC 440, and 1999 when I had a Ski-Doo GT), anyway i have no experience with these skii-poos.
Are there any particular thing that I have to look in these...
Thanks for given info about Royal Distr
Once I rented ski-Doo MXZ 600 2001, took it for my wife, we went sledding and she did hit a rock.
I was surprise how easy was to bent that trailing arm, in fact it was made of aluminium.
My POlaris could handle of lot of beating, was strong and reliable...
+1, some brand new sleds may be found for around 7k if you look hard. Some dealers getting rid of old models, buying used summit for 7k doesn't make any sense to me.
Older sleds are faster, you are right? Stiffer susp, means power goes directly to the ground. Older sleds also more easy to maintain they are way more simpler.
I 'd rather look on old Polaris Gen2 or Edge then old Skidoo, some skidoo have trailing arms made from aluminium to easy to bent, and...
Thanks, I will probably call him before going.
PS Checked prices Ski-Doo 550 touring 250CAN per a day, still expensive for a sled that worth itself little more then 1k.
But it is better then nothing. Perhaps, I will consider getting another sled.
I am looking for a rental sled for my wife, we are both planning to go to Golden in January. She isn't experienced rider, so she needs something very simple not powerfull and reliable. Most companies here do offer 2013-2014 high top models for about 350-400 CAN per day, are there any other...
I need to test my sled after rebuilding, does any know any place close to Calgary with some snow to run a sled for a quick ride?
Cataract is a bit too far, last time drove almost 3 hours, could get to Golden instead, LOL.
Though Cataract was a great place to ride, with elevation snow gets deeper....
Also want to explore that region, any inexpensive hotels in that area to stop for overnight?
We also want to visit Spray lake on our way back to Calgary.
