Yes sir, I just sent you a TXT so I have your number in my phone. Do you think it's wrong for me to save the contact as "S&M Jim"? What will people think? lol
If I can ever manage to grab avalanche gear and take the AST1, I'd love to join... I'm still new to the sport (rode as a kid, never in mountains).... Your crew sounds like the kind of people I'd enjoy riding with, if I get my skill up to par.
This is a smart idea I think. We used to do 3 or 4 days rafting trips down the Bow River and camp on islands in the middle.... we'd leave a sign in the truck window saying something like "If this truck is still here Monday, call the coast guard".....
Why pay to sell at a loss? Never sell at a loss.... (I bought them 5 years ago already...) This was the company..... Canada Lithium Corp. - TSX:CLQ - CLQ.TO >> MiningFeeds.com
Don't buy them.... unless you are a multi-millionaire and can drive the stock price up for me :)
Most places (iTrade is one that comes to mind) have some form of simulator where you can use play money, and pretend to invest in real stocks just to get the hang of it. iTrade was taken over / bought out by Scotia Trade and it sucks horribly now. I *MUST* make a trade every quarter or they...
I bought stock in a lithium mine (forget the company name at the moment) ... hoping for the electric car revolution... so far it's a loss. (was only a few hundred in a penny stock)
Medical Marijuana seems like a sure bet, if you can find a legit company.
I bought Suncor stock during the last "crash"..... over the course of the next 1.5-2 years, I sold/withdrew exactly how much I had invested, bought a cheap aluminum boat and a jeep, and still had exactly the same amount invested in stocks (almost exactly doubled my money). My only regret was...
I was mostly curious about the one at CC on the 16th.... Kaz said he would post a link after the meeting.... so that's the one I am keeping an eye out for. :)
Generally no... people have fires while ice-fishing, and they don't melt their way through the ice... even after a full day. At least not that I've ever seen.
We made a fire in the snow a couple years back at the CC staging area.... on the snow.... we just walked around in knee deep snow (or...
I have Alberta downloaded.. and available offline. It seems to work with many different map apps. Here are two I am going to try this weekend. I have both installed, and at least one allows my wife with her Android to be a "buddy"... so we can see eachother on the map, as well as plot and...
If I was ever lost/separated from my group and saw another group..... they'd be hard-pressed to stop me from following them, if I was fearing for my own safety. I'd rather apologize later if needed, than not be able to.
To me it's just awesome. Even if they are down a goal or two now..... a comeback isn't out of the question. Goal-tending has been a surprise and the d-core is coming along nicely. Good on them. I've always said, as a fan, that we don't expect a cup. Competitive hockey and meaningful...
So I went off on a bit of a tangent...... On top of wanting a tracker of sorts... my phone has also been crapping out on me and so I needed a new one as well. I TRY to buy as few devices as possible, that are capable of more than one thing. Less to carry, less to charge. Anyway I went ahead...
Another question.... do you have to be a member to participate in the Poker Run? My sister-in-law has a sled and would ... but currently isn't a member. Money is tight this time of year, so I'm just asking to pass it along.
