Cat has a good 800...
Honestly I would not be brand loyal, if it was for a awesome dealer. We ride all sorts of sled through the year doing what we do and I can tell you first hand that most of today's sleds compare very closely with there compositions sleds, so find a dealer that you can trust...
Klim adrenaline's are awesome boots. Both my wife and I have a set and love them. I've stood in creeks to help get a few sleds out and still went home with DRY WARM feet.
We always go get the tree. It the biggest part of Christmas for us. My wife loves the stockings though. Momma I love the way you squeeze sledding into every aspect of your life. I think I have a few parts I am going to need to hang from the tree.
Some great points.
I would change out the track to the 2.6 PC (I think its the best track on the market for the type of riding we do). Then move the skid to the 13 or to the 14 location, and let the limiter out and run the back as soft as you can without it sagging. Soften up the front end. Then...
We cut a bunch of under brush out today. We still didn't make it in today but will make it in next time... a few more logs and a couple hundred yards of alders and the trail is in for the year. We never get into here till the middle of december but that last snow fall has helped us go many...
Today we are heading up into one of our favourite spots to cut back alders and dead fall... This got me thinking about how much work local riders do to maintain riding areas. I would like to thank everyone that takes the time to stop and cut a few branches, lays logs across streams, shovels...
Ok its late notice but tomorrow night is the FSA pub night. Its at the pub in Park Place Lodge at 7pm in Fernie BC. Come on out and get to know some of the members.
If anyone has any interest in a early season ride before the event, we just got a big dump of snow.
We ride them all thought the season and truly it all comes down to dealer support. For Weir Boondocking we will all be on cats because Ghost rider Motorsport's takes great care of us, and has always been able to help get us back on the snow.
M8 all the way... I would also update the tunnel so it's the same as the 09, you only need a bumper and the running board supports, do the geo mod to the skid and ride it like I stoled it.
Fernie has lots of great ridding that gets over looked/ridden past, or is just not know of by most of the people that come to visit. Our snow is great and we have some convenient logging. Park place lodge has everything you need except gas.
Hope to see you out here this year.
