Any pics of some boards on a Nytro? Price? Are they powdercoated and do they go right up to very front of running boards? Where about in Sask are you? Whats the pricing on these?
Thanks.
Hey Warhawk, thanks for showing us around on Saturday. Had a great couple days. Didn't end up getting out today, the boys slept in a little too long. Oh well had an awesome trip. Thanks.
So it is possible to weld Magnesium. I've been told by a few fella's that Magnesium will start on fire? I don't know. I'll give these guys a shout and try them. If not sounds like JB weld might do the trick. Any ideas on how to keep the bolt from backing out again and keeping the circlip in...
Ha oh no it's the real deal. I'm thinking if that circlip didn't come out I would have been fine. Oh well I guess more red loctite, new cover, re-torque, new circlip, and we're running again.
Hey guys just wanted to share findings. So I've had my chaincase apart a few times. It's probably been 700ish kms since the last time I had it apart. Anyways the last time I had it apart I torqued the bolt up to spec and used red loctite. The bolt had backed itself out and chewed apart the...
I tried that route as well. Bought a cheapo tether switch that I ended up replacing with the OFT Roll Over Valve that has a tether built in. My opinion is save your $20 and put it toward an OFT Roll Over Valve.
Well I'm no expert by any means. I'm still trying to figure mine out as well. Maybe try putting more pressure in the rear shock, maybe less in the front. If anyone has any help to make the stock suspension set up work for side hilling I would be super interested. Thanks.
So.... just to be clear?? Should would a fella be better off trailering to somewhere else or is riding from there going to be alright? Anyone going to be out this weekend in the area??
Thanks again.
Thanks for the replies guys. Turns out we're just going to stay at the bed and breakfast in town. I think it's called Blackstone Lodge possibly? Hopefully be able to ride right from the cabin there? Anyone familiar with that area, never ridden from there before? Does it join up with coal creek...
I have a '10 Nytro with the "updated" Maverick track and it was bending over so I picked up a used 156" C.E. and wow what a difference. It's like adding 10hp because you can actually get to places now. I would recommend going to a 162" though. I also installed my Maverick on my bro's 08' Nytro...
Right on, thanks guys. Has anyone camped before at the INN? Do they allow this sort of thing? How is the riding on that side of the divide? Just checked the avalanche report, and looks like conditions have gotten much better than last week, anybody have any reports on conditions out there...
Yeah they've got chains for the truck. Wasn't sure how bad the logging roads and staging areas were still. Here in S/W Saskatchewan it's gotten up to +10` the last couple of days pretty much no snow left. But if it's still going to Icey and ugly on the roads they'll probably just stay in town...
I'm not sure if this has been covered before or not, but I was wondering if it is possible to pull a toyhauler up to a Staging Area/Camping area and be able to ride your sleds out to the trail from there? Looking at somewhere in that Fernie, Crowsnest Area. Looking at doing it for Easter...
Yeah it was my fault when I installed them. Didn't have the sled on the deck and just put them in and cut the excess bolt off. When I loaded my sled it was close to not being long enough. So for the next guy I guess make sure you have your sled loaded before you cut the excess bolt off the loop...
I bought a set from Princess Auto for a little under $200 a piece. They are absolutely one of my better purchases. My only complaint is that when clamping down the Yamaha ski's you have to unscrew the adjuster past where it says 'not to go past' point. But so far have not had any problems and...
Just a heads up there. Supposed to be a Poker Rally in Swift Current this coming weekend. I don't know all the details, but Sat. Jan.22.11 Meet at Excel Bus Garage (up behind Jenmar Trailer Courts) Going to be a 100km ride. $20/hand, chilli supper to follow. I'm hoping someone will chime in here...
Actually yeah this last week we've gotten over 8" in some spots. Pretty unreal for around here. Went out today riding and was fun, lot's of over the hood snow for the Nytro. Should be good until the wind blows it all away.
I would be interested in the track and your billet wheels. What size are the billet wheels? Any pics of the track/wheels? How many miles on the set-up?
Thanks.
