Yea 6500$ sounds about right. It's a wicked looking machine and hasn't ever gave me any trouble. Although I usually strip all the plastics off it after every mountain trip just to check everything over lol. Thanks guys

IMO that's a mountain sled and isn't geared to go any faster. Get it in some deep powder and you'll see what it was built for. 8200 rpm is Max, wouldn't spend to much time above that.

I got a couple things that bug me for sure. When you change and engine in an xp the positive and negative wires coming from the mag that are run to the harness behind the chaincase in a very tight and awkward position have to be removed before you can yank the longblock. Lots of people dont know...
Wow well put, I 100% agree with everything you said. That would make me sick to see someones big rig all tricked out and them not have proper accomidations for there beloved pet. Someone should have taken the dog back to town and turned it over to someone who could provide proper care. Some...
Careful if it's an xp the bulkhead front a arm bracket is cast aluminum and will not weld very well. Also won't have much strength with the pourous cast aluminum. Might not be worth welding and it breaking and then you've wasted time and money. Just saying hehe
Mothers sux, power balls a joke! Wicked metal products works, F1 metal prod. Is wicked and not to much can beat clay bar polishing. Well mothers billet polish isn't that bad I guess hehe
yup, you got that right. I went through a set of stock rails, and aftermarket iceage rails. Aluminum starts to anneal(become soft) around 370 deg f. Powdercoat from what I've heard can be up to 500 deg f. Had both sets done Matte black and they looked great. They didn't perform so well, after...
Just curious who has had luck with a bar riser and bar kick up combo on an xp? Anyone use fly racing products ? I would like to raise my bars approx 4 " from the stock ride height on my 08 xp 154 everest. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Yea this is an mtx it has a long track on it. Not sure of exact length. I'll take a few pics next week when I get home. The sled is mint besides the guage. She's just not good on sleds yet and it's a little much for her. I put an extra set of bogey wheels on it, cause she only ride it twice at...
Wife rolled her sled last year and broke the guage assy, and wiring harness clip that goes into the back of the guage. Looking for replacement guage assy and wiring harness or willing to sell the sled with out guage assy. Only has 850 klms when rolled. Everything else is mint. I'm a welder and...
I did mine awhile back and I think depending on year there Allen, the updated versions are torx. Use a little heat and becareful they strip very easy and are a nightmare to get out if u do strip the heads. I had to tig weld a but on the surface because two of mine stripped. The heat loosened...
hahaha yup sure does handle well. Turns out there was a broken bolt in lower left a arm, and the a-arm it self has a tweak in the bushing section. Called E&S and they had no clue about parting one out? If anyone has parts, still interested.
Looking for the following parts 07 phazer mtx, Wiring harness, guage assembly, front end steering parts, a-arms, front sub frame assy. Rolled it and broke the guage assy and wiring harness going to it. Dont have reverse needless to say. Also skis are facing inward and some of the front sub frame...
So ive been through 2 sets of rails so far this season. First ones are stock xp 154" rails that I had powdercoated black and they bent after a little bit of abuse. I had rail stiffeners on that setup. The second set lasted 5 miles up the trail at allen creek, 154" iceage rails powdercoated black...
Curious if anyone has any take off 154" rails for an 08 skidoo summit 154. Had the sled out on the hard pack and bent the rails up pretty good. If anyone has a set for sale please contact Ryan @ 780 554 5609 or pm me back on here asap thanks.
