Plasti-dip is garbage and will not last on a tunnel. I tried it on a bumper and spindles and it wore off in one day of riding the fields... Any spilled gas will ruin it and is not stand up to scratches.

So I just stumbled onto two old relics and brought them out of the bush. Some clean up here and there and a seat cover for both. But other than that everything is pretty much intact and in good shape. No cracks or dings on either hoods. Now, I have been trying to do some research on these sleds...
I wouldn't bother. Just drove thru the area yesterday down to Kalispell and the snow looks like sponge toffee all over the place. Unless there's a good dump of snow in the next week and a half, I'd say forget it..
So, I've been having a constant battle with my new to me '12 RMK standard. Took it out last weekend, wouldn't go in reverse. Dropped it off at Riverside and the TPS was adjusted. Picked it up today, only to find that:
- Barely holds RPM
- Fouling PTO side plug after warm up to 100 degrees F...
After trying to extract rusted to fuc% y pipe bolts on my brother's '98 summit X which was the direct result of the sled on a trailer with no tarp back and forth for trips, I pity anyone else who come across under the hood rust on a sled when rebuilding on a top end. Just sayin…..
