Stock can works, Jaws can and MBRP trail/race cans both work on all the sleds I’ve installed the pipe on. No fuel controller required or timing. How ever bumping the timing 1-2 degrees have shown an additional few HP.
You’ll make it work with some tuning on numbers. Cat had 6 or 7 different flashes on their ECM’s after the Shark was originally designed and dialed in. Ran into similar situation on the ‘12. Simplest thing to do now would be to get the most current flash installed, measure the busing ID on pipe...
Lol. Ok. Weird that all of ours worked. Suggested maps were definitely too rich but that was a simple fix. Only other guys that complained said same thing. Change the fuel mapping and hold on.
Even the big shark for the Zuk changed a few times as did the mapping for different model years.
Something must be off with yours. We ran them in Revy, BlueRiver and McBride. BD box with our own numbers (mixture of Linderman’s and Greg’s combined) and we were very happy. Not quite the bang the Zuk received but definitely a big improvement. Can’t wait to try the improved version this winter.
