I'm in the same boat as you. The True Adventure Gear gloves I bought were nothing special. Keep going back to my oldest 2 pairs of motorfist gauntlet gloves. Anything new I've tried (including Motorfist) have not measured up.
Since it was just stolen last Sunday (Mar. 24th), it's doubtful that it belongs to us. Dropped it near the cabin in the morning and it was gone when we got back. They took his (which was full) and left mine, which was empty.

I had a trailer exactly like yours and feel your pain! Sounds like more trouble than it's worth though. The time and $$ invested to do it could probably go a log way towards buying a different trailer after selling yours.
If the work done is not fantastic, you would also be killing resale...
