I once built a custom elan with IFS....I also had the blizzard 7500 that I was going to pull the engine and put into the elan but the 7500 was mint shape to hack up......the engine would be great for a custom elan mod.....wish I had kept the elan.....those 7500 engines made great power out of a...
the other side of the world seems to go faster at a younger age! no helmet or even shoes....guess sandals will do! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHS6xDaTQjk
I love avgas....I found race fuel in the apex cracked headers.....avgas did not.....cheap...I just detuned the triple mod sled so I don't have to run anything fancy now......Im just going to sled with my kid and have fun now!
thanks.....they could have worked I think, but I got busy with my neighbor's driveway a few nights ago......big mud slide that went down his new $15 000 paved driveway and on to the highway......been cleaning the mud up and digging ditches to contain the water.....what is going on with this...
It's been 5 years and alum seems to be stupid in price last time I checked! Even steel price is crazy! I would say it would be very easy to spend 3 g just on alum. And the getting things formed up. I had an alum welder so my fab costs were noting but im going to say if I had to buy an alum deck...
this is my deck on my GMC....love it....my sides slid out to 8.6 and I can haul 2 sleds or 2 quads.....once had 3 quads on it but the kids on sat on the ramp that slides in the back.....Im going to build a head ach rack that will have a cargo box above the roof.....I love loading so close to the...
love it.....I see in 72 the elan is just as "flickable" as todays sleds! I would like to see the 80-90's commercials.....remember the saying ski-doo had around 96-97ish "flexing new mussel" lol
thanks....I need to get leaner than 370-360-370 EGT are still low....Im guessing 3-350 and 3-340 should get me in the area or something with a combo of those like 350-340-350 maybe....
electric remote bottle opener....."I have bottle shut off officer".....but usually when they see the bottle its a ticket for something cause they knew I was up to no good! that's why I like sleeper cars like my Grand National.....looked like a grampa car....lol
question about a cylinder shim......I took off the Crankshop 809 with a shaved head (blown middle cylinder) and put on a stock 779 top end......I have a cylinder shim that I'm wondering if I were to install, and shave the head down so I have a .065 squish what gains in HP do you get from...
today is Sunday and shops are closed till Tuesday......anyone in Sicamous or Salmon Arm area have some jets they want to sell?.....Mikuni carbs looking for anything in the 330-350 mains
one of main issues was a pod that was not letting enough air in cause it was in a very tight spot.....triple in a zx is tight! im down to 370-360 and I need to go leaner still.....have to wait to get more jets! I need to find a smaller pod so it is not compressed where it is.....would be great...
you got me wondering now.....memory sucks but that might have been my 30 inch that pulls 180watts....Your math must be right! All I know is every 50 inch light bar is around 288 watts. 3watt cree LED and there is 96 of them! Rigid is 375 watts and pulls 27.17 amps....math does NOT add up there...
put some very cool advertising on a enclosed trailer.....behind a ford....and put 6 guys inside it and sit and wait......they will open the door sometime........take them up to the top of a sledding hill and leave them.....do tell all the sledders going up whats up there and why.......
I know a 50 inch LED bar is 288 watts and will blow a 10 amp fuse but not a 15....so between 10-15 amps is nothing for that much light.....a 20 inch is 120 watts so it should be around 5 amps or less....I will have to check but never did the fuse blow test on a 20 inch cause to me it don't draw...
with the 340's what is in the power jet? stock 96 Mach Z at 0 deg C (we are sitting about 0 deg C right now)is showing 360-350-360 and 40-45-45 on the pilot jet (im running 50 but would like a 55)but can not find the power jet spec for that set up......
the technical data sheet I have that was the revised one about plugging the power jets and using a PTO-390, CTR-380, MAG-400......Im sure that is sea level but we are only 1000 ish feet.....plus the jaws pipes....with the jet set up right now it pulls the ski's through out the RPM....just cold...
