I have a bit of trail on my place, and would like to get some more singletrack cut.
I have no time - and calving season is starting. We had a lot of blowdown this year, so i need someone who can read terrain a bit and chainsaw out the trail. I can get a mini excavator in to clear the stumps...
Not to be an azz - but this mindset is the manufacturer's problem. Everyone screams that they want a mid-level machine, but no one will buy them new.
Anyway - I would never buy another sled for a kid. I told them either a snowbike or they can walk. :)
I have seen a few posts talk about these, but nothing concrete on a search.
I just picked up a little 7 x 14 insulated aluminum trailer. No heat. So I decided to go with a 18,800 BTO planar air diesel heater. I have used them in trucks and equipment for years, The Planar's seem to be just...
YOu will love that set up. Rode a 520 with the Raze ECU last week. I was impressed. Almost as fun as my 330. I have heard good things about the PR2 as well.
Most guys that I know doing work on a 4T are just saying screw it and going with the 520 kit
Anyone used this kind of stuff for enclosed? I am mostly worried how slippery it is. I will be putting Superglides for the bike on top of it in any event - so not worried about carbides, etc.
Just want to get rid of the plywood floor that takes on too much moisture. And way more reasonable...
Peeps. I need someone who can run down to the border crossing at Wild Horse for me (just south of Medicine Hat). Exchange a bike with a guy, and bring it back to Sherwood Park. Sounds shady - and yes it is as cannot let wife know. :). Must have a passport to meet guy on the U.S. side (he does...
BikeCross is Friday 2:30 to 3:30MST
Snowcross is 2:00 to 3:30MST on Thursday.
I know that livefeed out of the US doesn't work from the Xgames site. Or so I have been told.
This is what I fabbed from a tri-fold. Works pretty well. Had the Timbersled ramp been available, I just would have bought it.
My $0.02. Buy the Yeti wheel kit that goes with the TS. Will save yourself numerous wrecked backs and headaches. With the wheel kit, it is a slow idle up the ramp...
Sorry 52 - don't have any pics of the 120 or the 300.
The 120 was a total money and time pit for nothing. Even with all the mods, when it hit more than 6" of snow off trail it was floundering.
The 300 was a nice little sled though - but in actuality was still a full sized chassis. It was...
To be honest - the 550 was a pig compared to the Summit 600. This was a sweet little sled. I got her on it when she was 12 - 13. It was a 154 with the C36 front end and T-motion. Estart and RER. She had a bad habit after the 550 of putting it to the bars, so I put the foam from a pool noodle...
Finally got this pic to work. This was the Freestyle 550. The only reason this stayed in the stable as long as it did was because it was really fun around the farm. The Mod Skis were changed out to Summits skis a couple of years before I sold it. This actually got a fair amount of use with...
