Keep in mind that even once they start letting traffic thru at the accident site it's gonna take a long time for that huge line of traffic that is sitting along the highway to get thru.

Unfortunately, most of the times others just don't want to listen. :(
I hear a lot of excuses, like "there are lots of tracks on it" or "it hasn't slid yet" etc etc....
I fully agree on what you say about challenging yourself on something more technical...
I always have a spare beacon in my trailer.
And I happened to have loaned it out yesterday. At Clemina,
.....you never know when good judgement and sharing just might save a life. And that's priceless.
Was up last weekend, and planning on going back on the 9th. Really hoping for some serious accumulation by then, and hopefully some groomed trails.... Maybe if it snows enough the guy trying to plow the trail at Clemina will just give up! :D
Not trying to hijack the thread, but do any of you ride around Slave lake at all? We're up there for a few days over XMAs and I would like to take my kid out riding..... :)
For those of you who are packing it in for the rest of the season, I respect that. For those who are going to continue to ride this year, I hope this thread has struck at least a little bit of fear in you; have some respect for the power of nature and ride safe out there!
