I looked into them a few years ago. They are extremely slow. 2400bps essentially dial up speed of the early 90's. You would essentially be able to send text emails any type of other content would take forever to transmit.
The iridium network is far superior to the GlobalStar network as they...
I heard that boost-it did some testing with these last year and they couldn't get enough air through them for a turbo application. The thicker screens are more restrictive. Probably not something you'd every notice for a naturally aspirated engine but too restrictive for boost.
They usually want you to sign a waiver of liability as well. It’s better to set it up before hand.
With emailing on an InReach you’d be relying on the dispatcher to check their emails to get a response. A phone call hopefully gets you in touch faster.
Is there an echo in here? I feel like we've been here before. Maybe even a couple of weeks ago....
How many km/miles turbo'd
30 responses wasn't enough?
The 2018 parts cards are still a mess but the 2017 850 ECU lists for $929.00 but it also has to be installed by a dealer as there are many components that need to electronically 'married' to it like the injectors, gauge, etc.
I didn't have any problems changing fuel mixtures. The two blends are only 3 Octane points apart AvGas 96.4 vs. Race Gas 99.4. I had a 2013 XM with a TSS side mount kit that I ran straight avgas in for over 4000km. The only problem I had was it was hard on Air/ Fuel sensors until I started...
As mentioned above the old S38 front ends had longer shocks. It is possible to make them fit but it will raise the height of the sled in the front and they will be really harsh on small bumps. You could try selling them out east where they still run the wider front ends.
I just bought one at the end of last season too so I don't have a ton of time on it but from what I've seen the sled runs pretty flawless. I have an intercooled sled and there still is virtually no turbo lag whatsoever, not even a stumble right from a dead stop. If yours didn't come with a...
That's all I was trying to say. I'm not sure why TTB got is panties all in a big bunch. At least he's got your back I guess....:dontknow:
I think that you guys have done a great job of improving on the KISS design similar Racer's Edge and the others improving on the M10 back in the day...
You’’re right... aftermarket running boards, tunnel extensions for long track kits, drop and roll and extended chain cases are ridiculous.
I’’m sure enhancements to the T motion design could be made similar to the Polaris couplers.
Cross that bridge when you get there I say. I've ridden with lots of boost-it low boost kits and haven't heard a bad word said about then. I have an intercooled XM and a G4 and they both never miss a beat. There's more than enough guys around that have run Neil's stuff for the past several that...
