Southwest of whitecourt is good, my son drove a 500 polaris sportsman with stock tires and did very well. We found a few great mud trails and a few quad traps. Have winch will get out.
Not to the top but then again not really sure as we followed backwards the Mt Hammel trail. I think there is a tee intersection that we should have taken but we turned left and went back to the Beaverdam road.
We will be back next year I am sure armed with some more maps etc. Enjoyed the area a lot.
It has been years since I have seen any decent size perch. Most lakes got so over fished by people who would take hundreds home. They just haven't recovered it seems even though there is a 15 fish/ day limit. The government waited too long it seems.
Ok Tyler here are a couple but I put the rest on FB
The first is the View from the beginning of Mount Hammel Trail, the second is further up the top where it is getting really sketchy and the last is the overflowed creek to splash in.
Oh ADDENDUM: be advised that riding through the long grass at the side of the dirt road is not recommended what so ever, as tested by the chief tester - Whodeanie-!!!!!!
Came back from our trip to Grande Cache, had the best weather ever! Great Quadding and lots to see. Thanks to Teeroy and AB Ranger for their advice. The area to the north at Beaverdam road still has plenty of trails to offer. We did the Mt Hammel trip without realizing it. Not for newbies by any...
Has there been a lot of rain in the Whitecourt area? We are doing some random camping to the south west and wondering if there is even any unflooded areas to go?
We were out there end of May and the reservoir was so low that to launch your boat you had to drop your boat from a height! What a huge difference. Thanks for posting that.
Being in the industry, I get to see the litany of errors and outright hack jobs that occur. It all comes down on the competency of the installer. The equipment seems ok but the system is not entirely wireless. You have to get a phone line and transformer power to the device and have a siren...
Can't believe he has tried to delete the thread, unfortunately the cat is out of the bag as it were. Were you really expecting adult answers from this bunch? You must be nuts to think otherwise ( sorry couldn't resist!)
My buddy has an 05 Grizzly with a carb. There is a vent on the side of the carb that is supposed to have a cap on it. If you leave it off, or if it fell off, water can get into the float bowl which will do some strange things. On his it would let the bike idle but not run on partially open...
Thanks an EFFING lot, might as well start digging now! ( grave in case you missed that) FYI I remember every freaking one. And in addition to the glass bottles what about the tokens that you put in the top to get more milk?
If you get an HMF swamp series muffler, one of the options is a snorkeled pipe about 18 inches tall. 400 bucks or so unless you can get a deal somewhere. I have a an 07 800 Max Xt and I have the BRP Stealth snorkel for the intakes and CVT exhaust but not the exhaust itself. One thing about the...
Yeah I have to concur a year later, installed one in my 07 800 Outlander and I am very impressed. Note though. Solder all connections those inline connectors are garbage.
