I said I could TALK to her, but I am NOT buying you one!!!
As for the "small" fee.....keep in mind I have expensive taste, so our perspective may differ.
Did you hold a vote or something???? :chicken:
Of COURSE he remembers, especially when I make him buy himself a new sled or quad.
Tekim, I can talk to your wife, for a small fee........:D
At my place, one trailer is full of sleds, which are a hassle to move out to put ATV's in. So along came another enclosed trailer (MY idea) just for ATV's. My thought is that I can just keep buying more enclosed trailers to park stuff in, and not have to build a $hop.:p
Although a study would never be done to prove it, I suspect kids that ride ATV's, sleds or dirtbikes become better drivers of automobiles, from years of experience in acceleration, braking, watching out for others, etc.
Nothing out west recently? What about the 14 yr old boy killed in a collision with a girl near Drayton Valley, and the 13 yr old near Rocky?
The part about kids without helmets infuriates me, if you can afford the quad you can afford the skid lid, and it better properly fit the child right...
I think it depends on the child. Does he listen to the parents' instructions about other things, and respect them? If the rules get broken, the quad gets parked for the day immediately, with no negotiation.
I know a number of kids that started riding at age 3 or 4, and have had good sense all...
I have a friend in Kalispell that would know about the back of the ski hill. Last year at Christmas a group of us went into an area past Columbia Falls called China Basin, for a great day's riding.
Here's a few pics...
I prefer to haul my a$$ up the Beaverdam road, in winter especially. One time heading up the sun was rising from behind us, making the hoar frost on the snow sparkle like magic fairy dust.
The Copton airstrip is fun in winter for a drag, too.
Don't blame me if it costs you $$$$$$!!!! Really, though....comfort is everything, good gear lasts if you take good care of it, and it's not like sleds and ATV's come cheap these days.
Incidentally, if you get a new (or new-to-you) sled this year, move the tool pouch to the left side (if it...
They are hiking boots, they can be lightweight without a steel toe. I have a pair by this manufacturer, similar to these that were on sale for about $80 at the sporting goods store in Kalispell......too good a buy to pass up. My other pair I've had for 12 years or so, worn lots, and they are...
Actually, there is no duty paid on items made in North America, including ATV's and sleds. You will pay the GST, however. Don't try to use a phony bill of sale, with a lower price than you actually paid. They can impound the item you are importing to Canada, and the vehicle you are transporting...
They have a store in Edmonton, near the Provincial Museum. One in Calgary, and they are on-line also.
The goretex boots I picked up in Kalispell Montana, two pair over the years for about a hundred bucks a pair. Feet stay dry and warm, but not too hot. Not sweaty and cold like rubber boots...
