For me, this will be super awesome for use with rear Superclamps, as every sled seems to have it's own sweat spot for where a rear clamp can go. Good on you guys!!
Fire n Ice makes reinforcement/repair plates for this. It is quite a common issue that is generally cause by a sudden impact/stoppage to a ski or a-arm. Chrisco at parkland motorsports may have these in stock
Yup...good technical terrain down there...It's like Griffin with a twist:D 3.5 hrs from my place just outside Okotoks including a border stop, Subway stop and quick coffee stop...way closer than Revy from my place. knowledge of the area (or a tour guide) is a bonus IMO. It's just like...
I did the XM thermostat upgrade on both our 2014 800 PRO's and wow what a difference. On average 15+ degrees cooler temps, and don't have to be quite so finicky with the scratchers. FYI...it is called the $28 upgrade, but if you use the nice shrink clamps etc...you are looking at about $80+...
It sounds like both clubs are operating within the same or similar area. I'd like to know if EVSC members are paying FSA trail fees when they ride FSA groomed trails? If I was riding Fernie, I would concentrate on an FSA membership and be done with it. The FSA has done a great job in Fernie...
Scams are always obvious to the outsider, but some of these scammers are pretty darn convincing. And, it's easy for a person to get caught up in a good deal. It's happened to me before...
I've run Motorfist and Tobe in the past and was totally satisfied. I opted to try FXR gear this season. It fits real nice and looks extremely well made...and also has a good warranty. I will hopefully be able to report more after this weekend!
No need to get personal about things. Are both clubs operating in the same area....or what are the different boundaries? I lived in the area for 30+ years and still visit regularly to sled. The FSA has always done a great job in the area. This, to me, sounds like some small town/area...
Another vote for Legend ZX-2SR (mineral based). Take a look at the test specs, it far surpasses everything out there. I too am not a fan of full synthetics in a 2 stroke application.
I have seen plenty of sled and ATV tracks in past winters going up the Sheep River and under the bridge on South/Northridge Drive. I couldn't tell you how far they go, but I have definitely seen tracks.
The tenure and Powder Cowboy's is owned and was operated by Island Lake. The local name for the area is Little Sand Creek. The original owners of the Cat Ski tenure was Snomuch Fun (who used to be my neighbours back in Cranbrook) and they later sold to Island Lake/Powder Cowboys. The Snomuch...
I feel a substantial difference with the drop-in. My wife has a '14 155 with PAR head and MDS clutching and there is a noticeable difference between the 2 sleds. I run Carls clutching with 64 gram Belly Busters. I ran some MDS clutching as well at 66.3 grams, but the Carl's set up is ultra...
I've got a Rev 1 Drop-in and my mapping seems pretty crisp. The more stuff you mess with the more dicking around with with tuning you will have to do. IMO...keep it simple or talk to NM about a Boost-It turbo system. He seems to have them pretty dialed in!!
This isn't a case of just being mad, but a case of the lack of courtesy of IDIOTS. This guy was blocking a road...not just a trail head at a staging area. A road that quite often has a snow cat driven up it by the tenure holder. If people need instruction for common courtesy...then they...
