My experience is that the unit needs online power pretty much all day long, especially in the cold. Only charging during engine running may result in the unit turning off due to low battery every time you killl the sled, meaning having to turn it on each time . PITA IMO.

Buddy tracking works awesome between trail tech units and 7S sleds, no cell phone service needed. I was replying to 06 Dragon that if using a phone with ride command app, buddy tracking does not work unless everyone has cell service. 7S riders...

There’s been several times in our history where hammering the truck up “just one more corner” has been well past the point of diminishing returns. Just close your ears while dirtmobiling and you’re usually faster up the hill and safer. 😃
Sorry bud, have to 100% correct you on this one. It’s a completely different animal, had both Axys and Matryx side by side in the shop and on the hill.
Measuring length from first and last contact with the ground, a 165” Khaos Matryx is 1.5” shorter than a 155” Axys…..
