Both places were able to list out what it is they are doing for the price. Martin gave me a much shorter list than the place that is charging 306 dollars. Their list is crazy, I can't even repeat what all they read out to me, it almost seems like they are going through the whole sled from top...
No not quite an xp. I ride a 2006 ski doo 600sdi, so I think it's just the rev chassis. I phoned two different places and got two very different quotes for a pre season service. Martin quoted me 120 buckeroos and another dealer out of alberta beach quoted me 306 buckeroos. I wonder what the...
A season refresher on this forum wouldn't be a bad idea either. I have really no idea what needs to be done to get things ready for riding, I called to see what it would cost to get a pre season ride service done and oh my god, too much money. I dont' even know what they all do anyways for it...
I'm putting in a new mbrp can to hopefully lighten the old girl up a bit, maybe take out some foam. Might have to replace an O2 sensor, gotta get a diagnostic done to see why the engine light comes on (people are telling me it might just be the O2 sensor cause it only comes on at high...
Will there be lots of supply, I hope to be at the sled show this year to get the movie and a shirt, but last year when I went they were all sold out of the DVD. :( Thankfully Rhonda came through for me and got me a copy.
I also asked the fiance what he thought of the climbing power and it he said it could use a little more power to get out of a bad situation in a climb or if there isn't a big run out at the bottom to get up some speed, not like his 800, much better for climbing, but i'm not a big climber myself...
I will definitely keep all this in mind and consider it as an option, thank you. I have a friend who knows someone at specialty so I'll give him a ring and see what he has to say.
Ah ha the first bad thing i've heard, thank you for your input. would like to get a good idea of the market that's out there before any decisions are made. do you know of any places in alberta, closer to edmonton that would sell them.
For my experience level which is not very much, I just started sledding last year, I find the 600 provides me with all the power I need right now. I'm even still a little afraid to use its whole potential. I've seen what it is capable of (the fiance took it for a climb last year) so I know it...
I purchased a used 2006 Ski Doo Summit 600 SDI last year as my first sled. It has done me well last year but I noticed that when riding in the mountains with big elevation changes my engine light would come on. It would continue to drive fine. The dude that sold it to me said somtimes the O2...
Who are the snow angels? Practice will definitely make my riding a little better, just waiting for the white stuff. I am looking forward to meeting you as well and hopefully a whole bunch more ladies. We will definitely have to talk more.
Oh wow, I did not know that. I've only ridden at alberta beach last year in the edmonton and area and a few times in the mountains. I definitely want to practice the carving, havn't quite mastered that, and the jumps I quite havn't gotten into yet but would like to as my skill improves. I...
Thank you Momma and Jeepchic. You hit it right on the button. If it wasn't for our friends and families and their support we wouldn't get very far. And with your ladies support I will one day get there too. If it wasn't for my man I wouldn't be doing this at all, his patience far surpasses...
Re: snowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was just there two weeks ago and there was no snow, but it was damn cold up top at the eagles eye.
One day my goal is to be a part of what you ladies do. You all give me a huge boost of confidence that if I try my butt off and keep practicing that I may be able to do what you do. But only 1 year of riding does not get me anywhere near what you ladies do. Love it, can't wait to buy it and...
Thank you all so very much for all of your feedback. The narrow steep road kinda creeps me out but I'm sure I can put that aside for a great riding experience. Now all I have to do is hope to god that I can get enough time off to really enjoy this trip (meaning more riding days on my sled than...
