Does anyone know of sled insurance that covers engine failure and a chopper ride - wawanesa sure doesn't - not sure if it's a thing - or maybe a sled specific insurance outfit any help would be appreciated
The rino has a location button that drops the pin - I dunno I see lots of them on the hill except for the people I ride with which is horrendous - i love the rino
The difference between the rino and the rest of em - it drops the pin on your buddies - the hard part is gettin them to get a rino - cheap hoors spend how much on everything else tho - chapps my *ss
I personally love the rino 755t 5w - wish more of my buddies had them tho - I sunk my sled in the creek at chappel last yr with it charging in the glove box - fully submerged - still works perfect - battery life is horrible so I just leave the rig plugged in sometimes
Yup - they are terrible in the cold - I had the old gopro hero 3 - i put the brunton all day slip tank on it - made it last just about all day so I bought 2 - now I'm onto the hero 360 max with the aftermarket battery door so I can run it off of a brunton slip tank from in my bag and zip tie the...
Fuel pump went on my xm last season too - I went with a non oem skidoo one - I went with one from quantum fuel systems just to try something different and see if it outlasts the motor
My bad didn't realize you were riding beside identical sleds - hopefully you get it figured out - and hopefully it happens to more stock turbo sleds so the manufacturers realize that they gotta maybe do a bit more R&D before they fire it out the door - its probably clutching - I personally don't...
I'm wondering if he was riding last - In the deep heavier kinda wet snow - exhaust side lean on the turn and plug off exhaust too much compared to champagne - just a thought - I do know that turbs don't enjoy being restricted they tend to act up
It needs a snorkel - and data logging capability- that way you can see - afr #'s - tps % - barometric - intake air temp - voltage - fuel pressure - etc etc - makes it very simple to diagnose the problem - then there's no chasing a dragon - just my opinion - but the more info you have the better...
I think there's little holes under the plate for the coolant jackets of the jug - I think - I'm not 100% on that- maybe I'm Wrong - I didn't really look close at that because the one I did was leaking oil - if not - then leaking head gasket - or cracked jug - put the antifreeze dye in it - fire...
Pull the whole rave assembly off - Change the o- ring seals - and the gasket behind the rave plate - good to go - just did one the other day - careful with those little springs behind - take the plastic little tower nubs off they get in the way - use gasket spray tack when u put the new one back...
Now let's talk about ease of adjustment- air shocks are by far the easiest to adjust - that's one thing I hate about the Raptors- adjusting spring tension on the mountain is not very fun - I'm hoping this yr I can find a spot on the spring and just leave it there
The powderfreaks on an etec works awesome - stock 2 piece wedge style reeds and reed block are terrible - just not tough enough of a design - reeds should always be a one piece block for structural integrity IMO
It's telling you that you can use the oil as a pre-mix oil at a ratio of 100:1 and be completely good to go - 90% of all other 2 stroke oils are rated at a pre-mix ratio of no less than 50:1 - now everyone out there needs to get there head wrapped around why that is - I've rebuilt stand up jet...
