Ya just make sure to clean the cylinder out really good. Torch your plugs quick then pull it over. Should fire if it was flooded. If not make sure it is getting air, fuel, and spark.
Try clearing out the cylinders first. Take your plugs out clean them so they are dry. I use a quick sec with the torch then just pull the motor over a few times to blow the excess fuel/oil out. You can even use a quick shot of compressed air. Put your plugs back in and when you pull it over...

I would call SLP and let them know the engine combination that you are running. They might have a set up for it already. If not I would start by adding a little bigger jet then test.
Trees are a small issue I would say. Impalement I guess is an issue for sure. I wear my vest mostly for when I am taking drops or jumping with my freeride. Sometimes the landings are not so much fun. I have knocked the wind out of myself multiple times with my handle bars but thanks to the tech...
