Interesting read especially for Kitimat residents

Unlike big business, that does things for the right reasons all the time regardless of profit or cost. The union represents its membership, healthy employed members are probably the goal.

    The bridge.

I see the first 2 are completely cross braced. Is it possible that in an effort to save time they decided not to cross brace as each girder was placed, and sitting unsupported for too long they folded?

    Tie your sleds down properly

My understanding is that for sleds on deck or trailer, they must be tied down at 3 points, each device/strap must be rated for the full weight of the machine being secured. Quads, ATV's tied down at each corner, each strap rated for full weight of vehicle.

    World Snowmobile Invasion

North route would be both shorter and easier on a little body. Obviously the earlier a guy could get out, the better the trail conditions will be. There is a good hard base under the fresh so hopefully the whoops shouldn't get too bad. Basically 15 km between checkpoints. I guess only Dad knows...

    Recession just around the corner?

All of the big Companies have been hoarding their cash for the past few years, to record levels... All those tax dollars that they were getting to "create jobs" went straight into overseas accounts.

    World Snowmobile Invasion

Forecast is calling for up to 40cm of fresh snow between now and the WSI. Recent cold weather has halted the melt, it looks to be perfect weather for a (mostly) outdoor winter event. Hotel rooms are not an issue. Come on out and be a part of the festivities. World Snowmobile Invasion - 5 Days of...

    Dam trucks

Oil companies pay SFA in royalties, why don't they buck up and twin the road? It's their equipment getting smashed in the wrecks anyway. Make it a private toll road.
