Just got back from my local cat dealer the price was looking awesome until I was told it only comes with 1 year of warranty. I would need to fork out close to 2k for 4 year warranty. :nono:
Kind of sneaky if u ask me my 2020 alpha one 165 with e start is 14,395 BUT with 4 year warranty I’m...
Yawn....https://www.yamaha-motor.ca/wpsm/snowmobiles/
Just quit Yamaha clearly your focus is elsewhere. It really is to bad because a company as large as you could change the game and be constant leaders in the sled game but you choose to “borrow” a chassis and keep trying to sell us the same...
Broke bars on my old xm now I’m in need of the clamp on type grab bar for 7/8 bars. Any of u have what I’m looking for kicking around after a upgrade? Don’t wana pay the 140 skidoo wants for new.
Well title pretty much says it all looking to do some riding up there cause I hear good things and haven't been up there. Can anyone reccomend a decent campground that's not to far out from bonnyville that has trail access?
I drive my 05 Cummins with a g56 6 speed (same tranny in the new trucks) everyday doesn't feel "sluggish" by any means I prefer the 6 speed for pulling especially thru the mountains.
Pull truck manual all the way
Your average DD in stop and go --Auto
Its preference I for one love banging out...
I was running monster mayhems but they rode like crap wasn't happy at all even in mud they were so so....The compromise for the mud wasn't worth the ride IMO. Now I run SATV Terminators and couldn't be happier the ride is awesome they chew mud better then the mayhems and are an all around...
not a worry ....ALL of these cars can be dialled right back throttle response turned down and max speed reduced with programming. Info on how to do that is in your manual ......fun to do to a buddy's truck and watch him scratch his head because the trucks a total dog now :)
I would go with something from a name like aarma or electrix r.c they have a bunch of vehicles that would make a GREAT starter. If your boy really gets into it then upgrade and spend the money. A word of caution when you start playing with lipo batteries you have to make sure there charged...
Toying with the idea of a snow bike for next season I'm hoping to get one more year out of my sled and with my wage I need to plan ahead. If I do go snow bike route I'm planning on a yeti 137 on a yzf 450fx---electric start is a must.
With that being said I'm looking at the older (fuelie) ktm...
If I wernt DEAD set on e start I would fire u an offer very nice platform for a snowbike. Im looking at a 450FX new for around 8500$ so with all the extras this will be a good buy for someone.
talked to the reps right from the factory last season......the sled is perfectly balanced why would you want to mess that up ? supposedly huge money went into development just for that. I will be rocking my XM for one more season but when I do make the jump the only reason I would get a can is...
Im in this group ^^^^^ and the other 2 guys feet are always wet and NEITHER of them would buy stompers again. Ive had my HMK's for 9 years (50 day+ season of mtn riding plus riding around home when I did ride here) and they just got a hole in them on my last trip last year. I will be buying...
Like if you went camping and didn't drain your fresh water tank before parking it for 3 weeks before your next trip. The heat and being stagnant will break down the CL12 and give the opportunity for bacteria to grow (there are a lot of factors here but best to play it safe). One should drain...
Water treatment/distribution is my career and this guy hit the nail on the head I have access to good quality Cl12 so that's what I use. Bleach will work but a good quality cl12 in any form (liquid/powder)is better.
Its easy to do just add some in twice a season and as long as your using good...
I ran nokian hakks on my 1/2 ton and hands down they were the best winter tire ive ever run. I waning to pick up a set for my 1 ton. I ran druatracs last year and IMO they were JUNK on ice compared to my hakks (mind you the duraracs were 315's a wide tire don't help on ice).
