Sorry but I have to side with lhf I had an 1160 and it would tow your 800 faster than It could go down the strip you can't beat the torque they produce as far as an every day sled would rather have an 800 but for dragin the 1160 any time
Yet again another sweet build looks great!! Cant wait to go now. This isn't the best photo but as you can see my cooler is done the same way as well, this allows for better cooling on mine as some of the 1200's are known to heat up with low snow conditions
its worth doing. With the aluminum bracket you completely get ride of the entire intake box that holds the dash up. completely changes the sled you now have tons of under hood room and more air flow
Have flow rites in the front of each panel on both sides and with no head lights it's not bad at all and on the clutch side at the back there will be drilled holes for ventilation for the clutch my black panels had them and they work great. Will post a pic of them for ya
Its pretty well finished just a few small things and the waiting for the new decals. Always liked the black but this looks pretty sweet too!! Can't wait to get it out its going to be bitchin with the new boards and more boost!
Install one i mounted a really nice one on my turbo like said its worth having, my 1200 doesn't run very hot at all it takes a lot a trail with little snow to reach even 165 F.
Love what I have 1200 doo turbo, 99 formula z 670, soon to be 98 summit x 670 and the kids just got there new SRX 120 and a few older sleds for booze cruising life is good.
This may change a persons thought process on what and where they ride hope it doesn't go through. Good informative thread maybe I should watch the news once and a while
