Thanks for asking.
Tyler answered the question. There are a number of reason for no grooming this week or possible any more this season.
1 I have a contract to work for a 1 1/2 months cant make it out there this week.
2 Other grooming team is on holidays.
3 Its to warm during the day and this...
Snow is still good but getting rough. The grooming program took a hit. Operator going back to work and other drinking Rum in Cuba as well as warm temperatures during the day. These all have a impact on smooth trails.
They make parts everyday. Thats why you need to be cautious playing off trail in those cutblocks. One reason why we recommend stay on the trails or be aware when off.
Lots of thing go on out there some good, bad and very sad.
Sorry for that. We are limited to the weather and volunteers. It is our mission to try to make the trails as rider friendly for the families that want to come out. As you all know the weather has warmed up and we are not able to groom out there all night when its colder.
Lots of snow just...
Was out there today doing a little sled grooming. As was mentioned trails are getting rough. Blame it on the warm weather and fresh snow. I was amazed at the amount of new snow out there. Got stuck trying to get into the grooming yard. We did get some grooming done until the snow got to soft...
Thanks for the question Tyler
Few reason to call the season
1 we run out of diesel for the big groomer.
2 we run out of Gas money for sled grooming. (very close already over budget)
3 mother nature melts the snow.
Good thing is its still cold at night and snow not getting to warm till...

There were 2 sleds stuck back in Fording. Did they get them out this weekend?
Club was grooming with the big cat. Haven`t heard how they were doing. Did anyone see them out there this weekend?

Grooming update
Over the last week ALL trails but upper Raspberry have had some form of grooming done to them. Today we groomed Fallers 2 times, up and over Etherington to the Staging Area, and finished the day with Valley Bottom Trail. Snowcat was out last weekend and he bladed and groomed the...
Grooming update.
This last weekend the Calgary Snowmobile Club groomed again out in Cataract Creek. We used the big snowcat to push open the drifted in trails on the South trails. Skyline is open as well as Pasque. Many huge snowdrifts from the wind. Lower trails all sled groomed as well...
