I don't think that was the case at all, the 21 was on 46 lap old left side tires and right side scuffs. Just couldn't hold his line and Custer got the short end of the stick when the 21 pushed up. Hill was also racing for a title, I seriously doubt he was blocking for the 7 lol
Season over for us here as well. After the ride to Tuk and AK I only rode the Africa Twin a couple more times around here, put about 1200 kms on the HD and never threw a leg over the 450X all season. Put everything away yesterday and pulled the batteries for the ones in cold storage.

Kind of like a Harley, but with a way higher center of gravity. I've only dumped mine twice loaded, both times were while stopped ffs. They fall a lot further lol.
You're right, I posted weight for the non DCT model. Honda claims a dry weight of 551 for the 2023 DCT. With myself and gear loaded I weighed in at just over 900 lbs.

I have a '23 Africa Twin, Adventure Sports model with the DCT trans. It also has cruise, electronic suspension, heated handgrips, 6.6 gallon fuel tank, and tubeless wheels. Rode the Ultra Classic up to AK in '22, decided to get an ADV bike to do the Dempster and the Dalton. Rode it up both this...
I read about someone putting a gen 3 in their truck, mounted inside the sleeper and getting good results. So I yoinked the one from our camper and stuck it on a shelf in my sleeper. Watched both Xfinity and Cup races on my phone while hauling loads over 2 days southeast of Wabasca. Little to no...
Put the gen 3 in the box of the pickup, turned it on heading south of GP on highway 40. I got better speeds doing 70 mph than I do at home with a gen 2 mounted to the roof.
Tough to get a room in Hinton, got lucky with a cancellation at the Highway Inn. Environmental testing vehicle parked on my left, restoration vehicle on my right. This town is bustling.
