    Off road tires

This:^^^^ I've been running these for a few seasons, they wear well, are great in mud. Ride sucks a bit as they have a very stiff sidewall, and noisy on the highway. But for their intended purpose, I'm impressed.

Help with a 2014 xf high country 8000 boggy and flooding one cylinder?

Check your power valve cable length 1st. 2nd, swap injectors side to side and see if the problem switches cylinders

    Arctic Cat Suing TEAM

Regarding the 2nd quote, the sidewinder clutches have been less then bulletproof, especially when boosted. Flat rollers and flyweight mounts are an issue, lots of guys updating to Tapp, STM, and Powerbloc 80 clutches. Personally, I added a 911 cover and had it balanced on my Team from new. I...

    Yamaha skis

I’m assuming this is going on a BTX or XTX? To be ran on trails? Most mountain guys (deep snow) give a crap about on trail handling. The pilot 6.9’s are a dual carbide ski, at the expense of slightly heavier steering. What is your sled / application?

    Yamaha skis

I’ve used Doo pilot 6.9’s on 4strokes before, better float then stock skis. I run grippers on the current sled with single carbide

Strange Truck Dealer Request - Explain It To Me

I ordered a truck at the end of June with no deposit whatsoever, just a handshake, Picked it up Friday, price was right, no issues with dealership (Shout out to Leduc Chrysler, great small town dealer).

Ice Age Elevate options for Ascender / Alpha

I run a Kmod rear skid, so my suspension mounting is slightly different then stock. I drilled new holes in the drop brackets to allow the track to sit flat.

    Vertical steering

That was the first thing I did to my King Cat, hated the laydown post. Used a Viper tripod with CSP bushings. It has a tad more play then the laydown post, but the egros are far better IMHO...

New estimates on how much longer the chip shortage will last

It doesn’t seem like the chip shortage is affecting factory orders, at least not in my case. I ordered a new pickup in July, and got confirmation from the dealer it’ll be here by month end, maybe a 2 week delay from pre Covid times. Fully loaded 3500 Limited...

    C3 belt drive questions

I ran a C3 drive on a M1100T that was equipped with an EVO BC285 Turbo Kit for a few years, no belt issues. Mine was also geared 2.42:1 with 8 tooth drivers, I personally preferred it to the 2.33:1 ratio, worked well.

    What do you do?

As it turned out, a call to customer service resulted in a full refund, so pretty happy with the outcome.

    02-14 Duramax

Just curious what the obvious reasons are? Other then brand bias? Literally all vehicles can have issues. Personally, I’ve had really no issues with my current truck (2016 Ram3500), and ordered a new one...

    3M paint protection cost?

Just curious what I'd be looking at price wise to have the 3M protective film installed on the front of my pickup? Anyone on here do this or know what it runs? Thanks.

    What do you do?

My question: if you're a red seal chef, do.you order takeout? If.youre a journeyman welder, do.you hire.others to do work for you? In other words, if you are qualified, why pay someone else to do repairs for you? Back story: I am a red seal .journeyman mechanic, have bee doing my own servicing...

    2022 Cat!

Hell, Cat could have released a 900 turbo with new plastic priced at $15K Cdn and the marketing dept would still pooch the release, and both consumers and magazines would roast it. Truth is that manufacturers are pricing themselves out of the market, and NONE of them give a rats ass about the...

Ice Age Elevate options for Ascender / Alpha

Had no issues, but I only ran it that way for a few rides. Ended up with a Elevate kit and sold the setup I had. As for the Elevate kit, I haven’t ridden the sled since it was installed, but I’m expecting good results.

Determining prices for parting out sleds

Generally I price my stuff to move - 30-40% of new. But I don’t have time to sit around waiting for kijiji clowns to call. If I lived in town I’d do better...
