I like the training wheels and because of the weight factor. But it sucks in the parking lots in the winter on the hills. My extension is custom made with half in square tubing and half inch flat bar on the bottom. If I get around to it I'll send you some pics.

I have this setup camper is 12' Artic Fox and weighs 4000lbs dry the boat is 19' Searay. I tow it to Osoyoos every year. The only reason we went with this is we enjoy the water. The extension is near 4'. This setup works well for us. If you have any questions let me know. Been running this way...
