I picked up a Garmin 62s GPS and have started to play around with it. Yesterday I went out to Iron Horse Trail and tried it out and I found that the street map that it comes with may not be the best map to quad with. If I zoom into 5 meters or 8km it's really not that detailed because it does...
Someone on here once said to swing your throttle leaver around so instead of pushing it with your thumb you pull it toward you with your fingers. Just have to rotate it. I hear you about the thumb being sore. 5+ hours and its sore as heck!

My first quad was a QIO and I also bought a dirt bike. The dirt bikes are solid and are very fun and easy for anyone even kids to do maintenance on. The quads however are not built very well and have no suspension. The quads will be fine if you ride packed groomed trails but definitely will not...

Go to Bruderheim, far as I can tell no groomed trails only quad tracks and when I was there a few times there was not a sled in sight. I will probably see you out there this weekend because i want to break-in my new toy!
