We get checked at least once a season in BC. I had a sticker made for our sleds with Alberta plates. CO’s didn’t care it wasn’t original plate as long as numbers matched the registration. My sons sled we just put in in the wrap. If you have a wrap make sure serial number is visible still.
ya if your in the city it might make sense but I’m in the country about 15min west of brooks. I drive anywhere from 300-500km/day. I would need 2 chargers at home as my wife needs to go to town and my son is a year away from his full license. There’s no way I would consider my wife leaving home...
With a 50 amp charger you would take 8 hrs to charge to 96kw/h. My wife’s kiln is 48 amps and is a very cyclical load. It’s been a year now with her kiln at home and our power bill has jumped by about 400$ a month. The kiln only runs about 2-3 times a week on average and runs about 8-10 hrs...
What voltage are the fast chargers? They must be crazy voltage to keep the amps down. Just did the power calculation on my place. I have 220v with a 100amp service. That gives me a maximum of 22.000w or 22kw. Those chargers must be at 600v at least but that still is crazy amps.
135,000 watts is a lot of power. Not really sure what my house uses on an average hour but I know my cabin runs off a 4000w inverter and I have roughly the same appliances and pump there. Slightly less but not a drastic amount.
This was my Thought. Once he hits the throttle you can’t tell where the doo is even. Could be starting to pull on him. The other videos on their IG page is pretty set up also. The one where the sleds wheeling the whole hill is just the limiter loosened all the way. My old 600zrt 25 years ago...
This is next level stupidity. It’s like these dip sh!ts are just trying to rub it in our faces that there’s nothing we can do about it for almost 2 more years.
My pilot friends always say “ if you have time to spare go by air” Weather in the mountains is very unpredictable and reaching your destination or leaving from where you are isn’t always possible and can hold you up for days if not weeks. A few trips from springbank to Seymour arm with my buddy...
My wife and me started sledding together about 24 years ago now. We still shred together and she rips. Been taking my son up the mountain since he was 9 and now he’s about to turn 15 and is absolutely killing it. Made sledding a family thing and it’s been great. Definitely had some fights with...
No need to panic. We get one of these rain events every season. February and March can deliver and put us right back in the game. Just sucks the snowpack was finally coming around.
I have a soft topper on my Tacoma. I’ve had it 4 years and love it. Takes about 5 min to take off when I need to haul something tall. In the summer I roll the sides up and leave it as a shade cover for the dogs. Only issue I had was the back window cracked in the first cold snap after getting...
