My buddy who owns a big BRP dealership in BC that I was just riding with this past weekend said he has heard only 50 sleds province wide have been snowchecked.
It’s been pouring rain in Seymour Arm for the last 3 hours and only 4c. Not sure what is happening in Revy but if it keeps this up for another 12 hrs or more it could almost be enough for a full reset.
Still a pile of snow around brooks. LOL
IT was -16 when I left home this morning. I’m sure if your expectations are low and the sun does come out like the forecast is showing there will still be hope for an enjoyable time riding.
Just stopped at the last spike for a piss and the snow on the cutblocks is a long ways up.
This is looking up towards the gorge so north end of queest. Pretty sad out here. This is almost live picture. 12c now in Malakwa. If the skies do open up and dump moisture im sad to say it’s going to be...
Just passed through Revy. Currently 9c and spitting rain. Snow on Rodgers is about equivalent to May long weekend so access is going to be the biggest issue with anywhere right now. Put on your old skis and bring your old trucks with decks so you don’t have to cry about the alders giving you a...
I make just enough to be broke. Not sure how lower income people are making it these days. I make pretty decent money and it’s tough paying all the bills.
With all the snow we have decided to whip up a quick poker run at the Brooks Motocross track on Sunday the 23rd. 5$ a hand and will start at noon. You can also ride the Moto track with your sled!! We have a foot or better of snow here and supposed to snow all night. Should be a good time.
Ya my driveway was just dry enough I drug it out with the box blade and had it all nice. Now I am going to have a foot of snow and muck again for 3 weeks.
Snowed from midnight last night and all through the day today in Brooks. Currently nuking here and no end in sight. Kids will be riding the old beater around agin till it melts.
Some deals are starting to pop up again in the north shuswaps. By far the best thing I ever did was buying land and building up a property. Nice when you can just leave everything there and blast up in a cheaper vehicle than a big diesel and not have to buy rooms and food. Being part of a small...
Ya the only time it gets washed is when the alders knock the dirt off. 1983 f250 with a 6.9 diesel. Super simple truck. Don’t think I would want it as a highway truck though. It just lives at my cabin and only runs logging roads.
