Thanks for the replies guys,:beer:. I will start fiddling with the tach. Tach being stuck must be a clue....:confused:

My buddies 04 800 starts and runs for about 12\km and then shuts down and will not restart (sometimes for days) When it shutsdown the tach is stuck and when the cord is pulled the lights do not turn on. I am guessing stator, but already replaced it and the coil. Any thoughts?
