Just exploring, driving and hiking a bit, killing a day off while working in Revy. I am sure I went no further then the spot you took that pic from. Were you still in the last cut block or past it? This was quite some time ago..... I am sure it has changed.
I have seen it in the summer, that's how I recognized it. I did think it looked doable, but a little sketchy, but I am a p**** when it come to avy paths.....

We used to get in from 21k on Harper creek, crazy single track switch backs. This was long before the cabin was built, the burn opened up a lot of nice terrain...
Dig a pit or read bulletins.... The info is out there. You said you witnessed activity the day before. I can predict where avy's won't happen, it is called simple terrain, there's a time and place for everything.
Anyone know where exactly this was? 4 guys spent the night with the guy that had leg injuries. Heli winch rescue was performed to get them out.

Honeymoon has some nice terrain near Merritt as well, look into it. Which way are you going to whistler? If you take the 99 through Duffy lake you should stop at Pemberton and go up the Hurley, epic areas in there to.......
