    BC forest closures

There is a lot of riding areas around Moyie, pick up a copy of the East Kootenays Backroad Mapbook. It is a good guide for the main roads, (they rarely change), and most of the side roads and trails. There are no closures at this time. Depending where you are staying there is a lot of quadding...

    Traffic tickets

Unfortunately the "rolling stop" is becoming the norm, see it all the time, do it myself too often. Invest 50 bucks on a dash cam, then if in future you want to dispute traffic violations you might have a chance. Right now you might as well pay the ticket and learn from the experience.

    Good Deck/Bad Deck

Depends how much you want to spend. I am sure there will people saying avoid one brand or another, we all have preferences. I have had a Denali deck for years now and other than rewiring it, (they are notorious for poor wiring), have had no issues with it. They are a Chinese knock-off of the...

The rising cost of eating out.

The last time the gov't raised the minimum wage the senior workers at my wifes employment were told the employer couldn't afford to give everyone a raise so their wages stayed the same while the recent hires got increases. The end result was some people getting pissed off and quitting, not all...

New ticketing and increases in fines for public land

It isn't the crossing of waterways that causes the most uproar, it is the videos of vehicles following the waterway that gets the most backlash.

New ticketing and increases in fines for public land

Who didn't see this coming? Only surprise is how long it took for the gov't to take action. We, the users are our own worst enemy. Can't expect to be taken seriously claiming to be good stewards of the land at the same time as posting hundreds of pictures/videos of abusing the same land base. If...

wonder if her family is proud of her - wow

What I found comical is when he tries to say being asked to leave the restaurant was a racial issue. The manager that asked all of them to leave after causing a disturbance was browner than he was.

    Apoo Gone?

You can portray whites in any way you want without being racist, but all it takes is one brownie with hurt feelings to create an international crisis. How long before Trudeau weighs in on this, protecting "his" people?
