Thinking About Upgrading to Full Size Half Ton...Best Bang for The Buck?

Sherwood Dodge is not even a 2 min drive from my house so I'm definitely thinking about checking them out first. I'll definitely be sure to walk in there and kick the owner in the nads for ya.. I'm sure that'll get me a great deal eh? Are you talking about Crosstrail or CrossTown? One of Boyd's...

Thinking About Upgrading to Full Size Half Ton...Best Bang for The Buck?

Yup, but sometimes their financing on used vehicles is considerably higher, atleast with Toyota this was the case, not overly sure about the domestics. Ohwell there's lots of things to look at and weigh all the options. I got the Chrysler Preferred Customer account # from ATCO just to see what...

Thinking About Upgrading to Full Size Half Ton...Best Bang for The Buck?

Well of course, Dealerships can't sell vehicles without making money off them. That's just the way it goes. But I do know that I can get one for below MSRP and its just a matter of which dealership is willing to give me the best possible price they can.

Thinking About Upgrading to Full Size Half Ton...Best Bang for The Buck?

Haha yes this is something i've known for a long time, but its a lose, lose situation if the bank rates are higher, your still paying it regardless if you dont necessarily have 40K sitting in the bank. That's just one of the shitty things about buying vehicles lol. I will be doing some heckling...

Thinking About Upgrading to Full Size Half Ton...Best Bang for The Buck?

Haha yes that's true I was looking into rental rates, but I can't see myself owning one anytime soon, maybe down the road if we don't have kids, and sell off all of our properties years from now and make some bucks off em! Hehe.. other then that, its just too expensive to own and ride sleds. I'd...

Thinking About Upgrading to Full Size Half Ton...Best Bang for The Buck?

LOL why is it everyone on this thread seems to think I own a sled?? Is it the general consenus that everyone on this forum owns a sled or something?? Haha.. funny, anyways (Sledhead5000), totally agree on the buying used - definitely considering that idea as well, but that part comes down to...

Thinking About Upgrading to Full Size Half Ton...Best Bang for The Buck?

Nope.. as I've already mentioned I don't have sleds, or a sled deck, or a sled trailer.. I dont even have a holiday trailer..YET but the biggest trailer i'm going to be pulling is 20ft/5000 lbs max. I have no use for a diesel 3/4 ton truck. I'm not even sure I can justify a half ton right now...

    Dirt bike for noob

Well you can probably find a 250 2 stroke for under $2000. Should be able to find older TTR 230 for around the same price as well. Honda's generally hold their value a little better..

Thinking About Upgrading to Full Size Half Ton...Best Bang for The Buck?

Thanks all, Yeah Its totally the way it goes with trucks, they all have their perks and they all have their faults. At this time, and likely never, will have use for a 3/4 ton or bigger, its just too much truck for what I need. The most i'm likely ever going to tow is a small holiday trailer...

Thinking About Upgrading to Full Size Half Ton...Best Bang for The Buck?

So I am entertaining the idea of perhaps upgrading to a half ton pickup. Financially its a pretty feasible option for us at this point, but not sure if its worth it or which brands are the way to go. I'm not partial to any brand, but I'm leaning more towards a brand new 2011 Ram, because I get a...

    Snowmobile Rentals/Accomodations in Fernie?

Does anyone know if GearHub has an email address? I can't seem to find one online, it would just be easier if I could email them rather then call long distance to BC lol.

    Snowmobile Rentals/Accomodations in Fernie?

Thanks all for the helpful advice! Does anyone know what kind of machines GearHub rents? I can't find any rental info on their website, unless i'm blind. And Momma, please elaborate on the "doing something special for us in Fernie". Do we get perks there too as Betties?...

    Snowmobile Rentals/Accomodations in Fernie?

Hey all, So I'm looking into joining some friends for a New Years sled trip in Fernie this year. Just curious if anyone has some good suggestions on decent places to stay, that are reasonably priced and comfortable for a group (not sure how many yet), but I'm thinking something like cabins or a...

    Dirt bike for noob

I agree... coming off a quad, a KTM 125 will probably scare you. My KTM scared the chit outta me that's for sure.. 125's are pretty crazy bikes, but my gf is a newbie to dirtbikes and she started on a 125cc and loves it... so it's all about personal preference, learning on a 2 stroke will...

    Dirt bike for noob

I agree a TTR 230 or CRF 230 would be the best route for you to go to learn on, if you choose you do not want a 2 stroke - but again if you become serious enough about riding you will probably ditch a 230 after a year as well, but its a place to start. I had the TTR125L as well bud and I still...
