A "groaning cake" was made when a mother goes into labour, the mother breaks the eggs and mixes the batter herself, and the smell of the cake baking is supposed to ease the pains!
I saw that, too bad Dale. Not looking forward to those days. Hearing that reminds me to appreciate them now, so thanks for sharing! I was ready to rent him out for slave labour earlier today!! :eek:
So far I have 9 under 6 and 16 in the 6-11 group, a lot of those will most likely be quadding that afternoon, but it seems like the families with that age group come back fairly early, for the most part anyways!! (who was it that was last in last year?)

Don't panic femme, I am NOT an overprotective mom, and I still ended up using my crib as a change table the first few months, and keeping the baby in a basinet in my room, or at least in the next room. All depends on your set up though! I found the crib, with the mattress on the high setting...
