    Here's one for femme and sledpiggy and any other adorable preggo's :beer: A "groaning cake" was made when a mother goes into labour, the mother breaks the eggs and mixes the batter herself, and the smell of the cake baking is supposed to ease the pains!

    Don't panic femme, I am NOT an overprotective mom, and I still ended up using my crib as a change table the first few months, and keeping the baby in a basinet in my room, or at least in the next room. All depends on your set up though! I found the crib, with the mattress on the high setting...
