    Camping crap !

Seriously the best purchase for lounging while camping I have ever made. I waited for Amazon Prime days and snagged it for $99. Can hold up to 3 adults...not very comfortably.

I've got an old anti-fatigue mat that will be going in the bottom. Well had a good virgin trip in the rig. The fire restriction turned into a fire ban but with a generator and some lights it was no problem. As far as the dust in the dog run area on a dirt road, yes it gets in there, but it's...

I have a thick alarmed cable lock on it, a bike lock and two ratchet straps right now haha. When it's in the box I'll be using metal strapping to strap it down as well as have it locked inside when not in use.

Thanks but I think for having to do it alone I'd rather just have a storage box for it to sit in I can open up and let it run. I'll post pics when I'm done. Bending up the metal for it today

Thats good to know! Test run with the camper this weekend, I am very excited! Since I can't lift it alone I'll just leave it in my truck but am working on getting a custom box made for the tongue of my trailer. :) Have a great weekend everyone!

This is the generator I bought last night. The only reason I was worried about the batteries splitting was because it happened before. Yes I know BC is warmer but it was a concern, if I just need to use a light I do have a good lantern so figured this generator was a good option that I won't...

I'm 90% going with a generator and 50% maybe on adding one battery. My only other dilemma for this working in the winter too is getting my gear dry enough.

Yeah there are no batteries at all. I might have to do that. However my dilemma is when I use it in the winter. I run a big risk of the battery splitting when I leave the rig in revy due to the cold.

I think the generator could fit here in a box.

    Camper Project

I'm thinking of building a box on the front of the trailer to house the generator in full time. I'm going to look at it tonight and see if I can muscle it around. If not I might have to go another route. My biggest problem is being 5'4 and having a hard time lifting heavy things as tall as...

I'm kind of buying for the future as well. I've been looking at small AC units to put into the camper. From all the work I've put into it I know it gets hot as eff in there mid day, lol. I know Honda's are the name for small engines but at this price I'm saving at least a grand from buying...

Finishing up the inside took a lot longer than I thought, then I painted the wood on the outside so I'm calling it done. This week I'll be looking at the fridge. Going camping this weekend regardless, I need a break from working on it and just enjoy it for a moment. No clue why my pics keep...

    Camper Project

The camper has no batteries so doing a solar set up would end up costing me more than a generator. I have a line on a low hours Yamaha 3000 generator for a good price I'm going to look at tonight. If I could afford to do both I would but at this point I think the generator is my best bet. I...

I bought the fabric and brought it to a place. I cannot sew, it is a skill I do not have patience for. If you need the name of the place I used PM me. Very reasonable rates and they did an amazing job.

Thanks guys! haha Bailey's predominate activities include sleeping, napping and lounging but does enjoy a good swim, play with her friends or trying to get my cat to play with her, lol. Well I only had 4 things left to do inside the trailer. Then this am I went inside to measure a few...

Thanks! It's coming together for sure! Electrical tonight, get propane, then take a look at that fridge that doesn't work. Hoping by Sunday evening I am done 100% and can start loading my camping stuff into it so I can get away next weekend. :) Can't wait to park it in the bush...

I picked up some clear silicone to do just that! I just have to buy a silicone gun now. One of those things I had that grew legs and walked away on me. I'll be siliconing the dog run area as well after I paint it too.

haha my friend told me last night that the interior doesn't quite match the hillbilly exterior. I kind of like it like that. Gives it a bit of shock factor, lol.
