The trails at Alberta Beach are beat hard and may of them may no longer be accessible to ATV's in the future. Have you looked into the Athabasca area? There's a fair amount of trail North of Baptist, but I can't really comment about the lake itself.
Kelly was a hell of a guy and I was lucky enough to enjoy many great camping and quadding trips with him. He was urging me to try my hand at sledding again and was going to help me acquire some skills on flat land before attempting an alpine trip again. Shortly after he made me that offer, he...
I'd be curious to find out how long they last. I've been beginning to hear rumblings that some of the LED bulbs aren't really lasting as long as advertised.
If you mean by the clutch cover, no - not a real big difference with 27's. The clutch cover can get warm but not near as hot as my CanAm's. The side panel does get a little warm on the exhaust side, particularly if you don't keep it clean in there, but it would only bother me if I'm wearing...
I reluctantly went to the Edmonton one, thinking it was going to a room full of hot heads shouting separatist slogans the whole time. It turns out that Ezra is an entertaining speaker and it was a pretty tasteful program. He wound up the program with a plea for everyone to keep an open mind to...
John Harvey Kellogg was born today in 1852. He invented Cornflakes in 1878 in the hope that plain food would stop people masturbating. Mr Kellogg, the man who created Corn Flakes, produced the cereal in the late 19th century and marketed it as a “healthy, ready-to-eat anti-masturbatory morning...
It wasn't "you people" that did it. It was "You people...you come here..." I don't think everyone's response was proportional, but he did screw up. Had he left out three words "you come here" I don't think anyone would have taken offense. ...still pretty sad though.
Even though I've become extremely wary of Kenny, his stance on immigration is not one thing I'd knock him for. He's not talking mass immigration, he's talking responsible immigration. He talks about bringing the right people to the right places instead of indiscriminately allowing anyone and...
I like Brian Jean. He truly is a nice guy, but much like Scheer, he's not the pit bull we need. Even so, I did put my support behind him until Kenny took him out. Since then, I've put my support behind Kenny just to find that he may very likely be a wolf in sheep's clothing. ...and it's...
Yup, but I think we should be pushing for economic diversity just as much as we're pushing for resource development. That should probably be one of Alberta's next major ballot box issues. ...sadly it will probably take a back seat climate change and gay rights.
In my opinion, voting undecided still sends a powerful message. If you really feel that no candidate is worthy of your vote, then I don't think you should be forced to choose one. Even though there is no "None" on the ballot, you can still submit it without an x on it.
I fell into that camp for most of my 20's and early 30's and I am disgusted with myself for it. True that someone who isn't informed should probably not vote, but many of us are too quick to accept that as an excuse. The better question here is "why are you not informed enough to vote?" Many...
