Had one in my ‘17, never again, wouldn’t start if it was below -5, smaller than factory so have to use the stupid foam shims and to top off mine cracked after three trips and I couldn’t get warranty. Rope and shot for me from now on
Hahaha, fkn hilarious, never a dull moment when old Baraaaap is around. Only thing that will make an alpha hang with a 174 t3 on any hill is a turbo, thanks for sharing your delusional fantasy with the rest of the group though. Is the Alpha awesome in the trees and for holding technical lines...
Pretty impressive numbers Randy, I like the muff pot setup too. Any tips to shed a bunch of weight off these beasts or are you just going with the “weight doesn’t matter when you get over 300 horse” philosophy? Lol
Lots of love for Mountains Edge, I’ve dealt there for years on sleds, dirt bikes, quads, truck accessories, you name
It, just wish they had Doo, everything but lol. My little buddy Phil is an all around great human being, he will go out of his way to help anyone, Adam runs a top notch service...
Anybody know of any Ski-doo dealers that are installing the sidekicks on the 850 G4? Or any non affiliated performance shops that deal boondocker? All I can seem to find on the interwebs is cat and Polaris dealers in AB.
The dealer would have had to have taken pictures of the spindles and skid to send to cat care, neither of these have anything to do with the primary so YES it was the dealers fault. Any respectful dealer would make sure cat care saw and got info on only stock parts that pertained to the claim. I...
I don’t think we can use a boaters license to compare, the boat license course is a joke, plus not near the variables with a boat as there is on the mountain, we have weather, avalanche danger, creeks, rocks, stumps, ravines, tree wells, open water, navigation skills, survival skills, basic...
Making people financially responsible for their SAR Costs is the only way things will improve, If one of us have a wreck, make a dumb drop at the end of the day or have a major breakdown, we work together to get out or worst case call a chopper and pay for it, a call to SAR has to be life or...
Ran one last year, most fun I’ve ever had on a sled, big hp four strokes included, boost was always there and throttle response was amazing, literally pull the rope and go, but I ran into doo injector wiring harness issues and had a piston failure. Dave was first class and helped out a lot...
Oh skeg, always stirrin the pot regardless of brand, do you even own a sled? All I do is pull the front limiter in one hole on the G4 and the attack angle becomes very similar to the Alpha. Not to be negative to the alpha, I enjoy riding them when I get the chance and I think it’s a sweet little...
I’ve thought about it too but nowadays every major sledding destination has at least one rental shop and they don’t charge much for safety gear. I took some flat landers to Revy before Christmas and a snopulse pack with beacon, probe and shovel was only $60/day if I remember correctly.
Before this turns into another “Lund is smarter and better at everything than everyone on the entire internet”, let’s sum this thread up.
1- people are getting too dependant on electronics and SAR to get them out of bad situations wether it be on the mountain or at home, people need to become...
Klim or Event/Motorfist, I have both and can’t say anything bad about either, both seal well on boots and they both have a strap to tie your bottom cuff to your laces. I tried FXR a few years ago and they leaked and ripped, I’ve heard they’re quality has improved lately though.
