Had a piston pop a hole on my 6.4 when I owned it. Over fueling injector. Loved that truck. Did a lot of work to bullet proof it (other than an injector contribution test which I should have done, go figure). Any dealer related shop wanted over $20,000 to fix. Found used engines at some...
Have had similar thoughts. One of the consistent comments about the Catalyst 600 is how potent and robust that 600 engine is. Slap a quick spooling turbo on and it would be one heck of a fun sled.
Been doing some more research and discovered that there are a few cards which let you combine points earned from both the business and personal cards. RBC Avion Visa Infinite Business being one. Apparently a good way to avoid the "taxable benefit" one is "supposed" to claim for using points...
As I do travel to the US for work on occasion, another concern is the exchange service fee. Typically between 2.5% to 2.7%. Have a USD credit card that eliminates the fees, but zero perks with that. BMO has a business Mastercard that has no exchange fees, but the perks/points are not as good...
Yeah, I'm well aware the "premium" cards cost the retailers a lot. I see many moving away from accepting certain cards. That's one of concerns with AMEX business cards. Great for the user in terms of perks, but not so much for the retailers and then not so much for the card holder when the...
I do see lots of people using the TD cards. Was interesting that they didn't pop up on a lot of review lists. Lots of good info being posted. Appreciate it!
Been thinking of moving away from a personal credit card and into a business credit card for our small business. Looked at many, many review sites but do not find a lot of consistency other than with the high yearly fee Amex cards. Seem to get rated well on numerous sites. I do travel some...
Got mine at Standens here in Edmonton. Was much cheaper and much easier to replace the whole assembly - plate, drums, bearings, all one assembly. Significant improvement in braking on our 15 yr old trailer.
Neighbour sent me a text the other night with his current Direct Energy bill...over $1,000!! Traditionally we have gone on floating rates as it typically works out better over the long run. Saw the writing on the wall and locked in early fall. We are with ATCO and have been happy so far...

The band was started in the summer of 1969 in the town of Dumfries, Scotland, by founder member Alex Wilson who recruited Jimmy Ronnie (guitar) and Ian McDougall (drums). They were joined by singer Mike Waller in November 1969. Wilson, the group's bass guitarist, had decided to form a band after...
It my days of older Cats stators would sometimes go bad and do weird things like what you describe. A few degrees in temperature change would make the stator work or not work. Would get rewound stators from a local company. They would overbuild them. Never an issue after the stator was fixed.
Neighbour is on his second one. He had an issue with last years when it got cold. Would not start, showed battery dead. Ford did some update over Fordpass and it seemed to fix the issue. No problems with his current one.
$1000 dollars is a $1000 dollars. If I'm comfortable with the smaller shop, that's a $1000 in MY pocket and I helped support someone who will probably be thankful for my business.
I was at a Costco station the other day. Noticed the premium did not have a sticker stating the "may contain up to...". Asked the attendant standing there what she knew about Costco fuels and if the premium contained ethanol. She was very confident in her answer that the premium did not...
